[@TheMinorFall] Pfft, Max is all bark and very little bite.  Malie's the one you really need to watch out for -- she's a former outlaw.  They're both shifters, though.  But Max just means...well, he isn't entirely sure how much of what he's heard from the guards to believe, and even if it was all true, that doesn't mean he doesn't do his job.  So even if he can't physically make Cain take it easy, or sit down, or whatever, he'll try.  And he will /certainly/ be vocal about it.  ^.^;
