[@darkwolf687] Relatively speaking, we've yet to start another world war and country vs country wars (usually the biggest wars) have dropped to an all-time low because of the potential to just wipe each other out at the press of a button. In regards to America, it's a unique case that is sort of the same in the UK but not to the same extent. Americans are the most patriotic people in the world IMHO due to the fact that most of them are practically breast-fed with national pride. No offence to Americans but all it takes for them to go to war is a somewhat perceivable threat. Communism, terrorism etc. But yes, what you said is very true! In the two world wars, the only things the civilians back home ever saw were the victories and the propaganda. Now, we can see nearly everything going on. Another thing about it is that in the past, if you wanted a natural resource, you invaded for it. Globalism cuts all those expensive invasion costs and does the same thing really. But yeah, we need those cool border disputes and some sort of friction between the characters to liven things up!
