and nope! you can play one character or as many as you like. None of them have to be "Dark Gods" if you don't feel inclined to play them.

Of course you may play neutral gods :D For the record "Dark Gods" is more like a faction among the Gods who cursed the other Gods and are trying to take over the heavens. Some of the "Dark Gods" may even have traditionally 'good' powers, and some evil gods may not be involved in their plans at all.

The Gods live in the immortal realm and they can live there however they want (they're all-powerful, pretty much, after all!) They interact with the mortal realm, but they return "home" sooner or later. Kinda like they visit for short periods of time.
