Gracie's eyes started to water as her auntie cried. When Nikki laid back, Kat smoothed her hair until she fell asleep. Gracie whimpered but Kat shushed her. [color=6ecff6]"No Gracie, shhhh. Let auntie Nikki sleep. She'll play with you later,"[/color] she said as she and the baby left the room.

She nearly ran into George in the hall and glared at him, shaking her head. He was not subtle.
Going up the stairs, she went to their room and unpacked the small bag she had packed when she'd been trying to leave. She was suddenly tired. Laying down, she sat Gracie beside her. Gracie pounded her little hands on Kat's chest and giggled. Kat smiled wearily and closed her eyes. Pregnancy and all of the fun that came with it. Nine months or so of fun to look forward to.
And for those who thought she was a bitch before, Heaven help them if they angered a pregnant woman.
