As the blue eyed girl appeared from the darkness of her tent, Eikki could not help but notice her clothing: not fancy, not beautiful, yet it gave her a relaxed look, and he could not understand, at first, how that looked so damn attractive to him. However, being a man of few emotions, he hid very well the ones that were spurring inside of him. Not quite the butterflies, but...the feeling of looking across a mountain to see a field of blue roses. To awake to something beautiful. He could not deny he felt the same thing whenever he looked at Rosalina's face, and the blond merman had no shame at all in admiting to himself he was a sucker for anything beautiful. As the soft words came out of her mouth, Eikki's eyes were staring at the two blue abysses that were hers. He had to gather some willpower to not get lost in her words, staring so deeply in her eyes he quickly realized he was probably making her uncomfortable. As she finished, Eikki bowed his head softly to her compliment about his show, and replied:"Thank you, Ty. Fret not, tomorrow there shall be another one...i too, feel sad about missing yours. It's...inspiring.", doing his best to not make his pause too long before finding a word that would not make her feel uneasy about him. "Also...i couldn't help but notice your absence in the meeting" Oh, that surely caught him by surprise. He could read it in her eyes, she had already grown used to the fact he was one of the least consistent members of the carnival, yet her words, telling him she had actualy noticed his absence, hit him in a young, hidden and soft part of his being he had not been prepared to defend at that point;with such words, almost anyone would have triggered that emotional reaction in him, but, as said before, things tended to take a turn for the unfortunate around him, and a deep, unavoidable sigh formed in his lungs, coming out exasperatingly as he directed his eyes to the ground with a soft smile, almost hidden by his mustache, then back to her, ready to reply, pushing air back to his lungs so he could do so. As he looked back at her, that soft breeze that always seem to sorround her was made present, softly moving the ribbon on her hair, letting a few strands move freely to the wind's taste. A refreshing breath of that magical wind his Eikki, very softly, causing a chill to move across the hair on his face. Had he begun to talk right then, he would certainly stutter more than was socialy acceptable for someone sane, but thank Ea, the elemental girl began talking again, and a true, sincere smile of relief shone on his face as he heard her words, to be quickly replaced by a worried expression, filled with anxiety. 12...missing? But how? in his 85 years in that place, not once had Boss lost control over a single soul he had bound. How formidable was an opponent that could steal souls and labor from the most powerful demon Eikki had ever encoutered? he would be frightened to have Reficul Seil as his enemy, but he had just found out someone as powerful, maybe even more, was now put in that exact spot. Rosalina locked away. No pattern to be found. Seil asking everyone to keep their eyes open. Something was terribly, terribly wrong, and Eikki had a feeling the matter was more serious than Boss let out to be. His attention, once turned to Ty's beautiful blue eyes and her soft, yet ravishing smile, was now turned completely inwards: he HAD to go talk to Mr. Seil as soon as possible. Guilt hit him like a crushing wave: he shoulda been there. After a long silence, he turned his eyes back to the girl, staring again deep into the two shining sapphires with a very troubled look in his eyes. "Thank you, kid. I should have been there. Poor Grog might have been scolded because of my irresponsible self." he said. The gentle giant had been tasked with calling Eikki, and since the merman hadn't shown up, Boss had been probably furious with the not-so-bright bouncer. "I need to go talk to Boss right away. Thank you, so much, for putting me up to speed, Ty. I owe you one." he said, and bowed deeply, courteosly, to the air elemental. After rising back up, with one last deep look into her eyes, and a farewell smile, not leaving any space in the conversation for the girl to reply him, or even say goodbye (he TRULY hoped he would not regret his lack of etiquette later), he turned around and left her tent, as quickly and suddenly as he appeared, once again immersed deeply in his turmoiled thoughts as he made his way to the Wish Master's quarters. A bright spot at the corner of his eye caught his attention, and the image he saw when turning his head to face it was mesmerizing. A hole in the sky, perfectly circular, bathed a huge patch of land in a bright, soft glow that looked light sunlight. "But...it's...it's well past 6...how can this be?" he said to himself, but decided to not spend any more time in trying to figure it all out. With quick and determined steps, he was on his way once again. If anyone had answers, that someone was Reficul Seil. Arriving at Boss' office, the merfolk knocked thrice, in quick sucession, and his voice, tinged with a bit of worry and regret, called out. "Boss? boss, are you here? it's Eikki, i need an audience with you right away. Mr Reficul?". He waited anxiously for an answer, and, fleet-footed as he was, Eikki was ready to leave if he conclued his master was not there. He rose a thought to Rosalina. "Poor creature...locked away as such. Her beauty should never be locked away...yet you know how Boss is, aye, Eikki? and you know he would probably cut out that spiny tongue of yours if this thoughts were to ever leave your throat." A chill crawled up his spine, almost putting the blond fishguy on edge.
