Who wants to be embroiled in a contact arc of a unconventional sort?

[@TheSovereignGrave] The Theocracy, Eternals/New Romans and the Dominion are very fine and dandy factions, why raise arms against them and do all this fighting?  We're stronger together & praise the god machine!  Your independence just weakens the galactic community and dilutes it to anarchy.  A few broken worlds is needed to make a galaxy, why can't you understand that?  Just surrender and no one gets killed, it's that simple.  Fight and you die, see?  Death is caused by resistance, not unification.

((This is not reflective of the Silent Imperium's views (except perhaps the more radical ones on the fringe who actually want the Imperium in Silent Imperium), just wanted to see how you would react))

I wonder what happens to simulcrums who hold more authoritarian views.
