I'm hoping to GM for a Steven Universe RP that I'm feeling like fostering. I want people to be able to make up gems, humans and half gems and play them however they want in my own setting (different but not too different from Beach City and with different places for gems to reside) and for the RPers to have a lot of liberty in where the plot development will land us. Looking for people willing to have a SERIOUSly good time, writing two or more paragraphs and demonstrating what crazy kinds of actions a good or bad or in between character will take in the world of gems and humankind.

I'll drum up rules and character sheets soon but don't expect anything too complicated. In this setting there will be tools that assist humans in competing with the gems for usefulness in big events (such as an inevitable invasion from space civilization.) Don't join this RP if you don't want spoilers to the series, but DO join if you don't know anything but really want to write it anyway! The rules and logic of Steven Universe universe aren't hard to grasp, but have tons of possibilities!

If anyone wants the character sheet ready so they can start formulating away I'll hurry to post the format on request. Otherwise I'm going to sit here and watch how many people post the one word "interest", haha. And then make the OOC after a bit. The more encouragement the merrier though! FEED THE HIPPOCAMP!! : D

Interested, slowly becoming obsessed with Steven Universe, which I originally though was a silly kids show. And it can be silly at times, but it gets really good.

I'm so interested, I have a gem in mind and everything as I've been dying for a SU RP. I love how it can be somewhat wacky at first, but can get really deep later on.

Since this will be a parallel universe, there won't be any story spoilers unless people other than me discuss it. I'll avoid all the spoilers I can, and keep special heart-wringing parts of Steven Universe the series a secret for those in the RP who haven't seen. However I can't guarantee that you wouldn't accidentally read something you wouldn't want to written by someone other than me. I had the privilege of seeing Steven with no spoilers at all and I was very impressed with the show because of it. I personally wouldn't want to take that away from anyone but others could be less careful, potentially. It all depends on your level of trust with whoever shows up to be in this RP.
Out of curiosity what would you want your character to be like, or multiple characters, knowing as much as you currently do about the series?

I was hoping for an OC gem called Ivory whose appearance I saw on Deviantart and I absolutely loved it. I could link it here if you want. As for multiple characters, that would just depend on if you wanted me to do so.

Do you like Steven Universe? If so, you can expect to enjoy RPing with other fans! I'm hoping for a few more to chime in over the next couple days. After this thread has seeped in I'll post more of what I've got.

Sorry folks, there's less interest than I wanted so I'm gravitating toward other RPs. I'll try to include you people if I start anything else. Steven Universe RP will gain more traction another day. Hoping for seven plus people sucked into the vortex next go around.
