And with that out of the way I suppose we can look a bit into who your character is.

Every Action try to do, or decide to attempt make will have some kind of outcome, and Often Require Dice rolls for successes unless its something so basic that 'We' can assume your character can just 'do it'
A Simple task could be to pick up something small on the ground (Provided it was described to exist there or asked before hand to confirm) You wouldn't need to roll to pick up a small rock, unless your in a hurry for some reason or if its hard to reach.
A Medium difficult task, could be to interact with something that's around you. Such as 'Trying' to do something that cannot be assumed to automatically work for you. We can assume you can walk on flat terrain, but if you try to climb, or just try to open a door you must state that 'you try' to climb or open said door. That's because you can't assume that all doors are unlocked, nor might be able to be opened easily... nor that you could just climb somewhere with ease. We use normal dice rolls for most of these while I can decide if doors are locked, stuck or just swings open as normal.
A Difficult task, could be to take an action related to a cosenquence. Or because of an event that just have happened. Often this reffers to actions you have to take immidetly, such as trying to grab something to prevent a fall, avoid danger, or attempt to force open that door that was 'stuck'.
You often need to put your stats against that difficulty to do something and roll for success.
A Deadly task, Well at this point its about survival. We can assume that most humanoids would be stressed, afraid and/or paniced when really bad things happen that can threaten their very lives. These tasks is what makes the Rp a survival, as if you trigger them your life will be in danger... At this point your at the Mercy of the Dice gods. And usually have to roll with penalties to your rolls.
in the end...
You may also get an advantage or penalty depending on how you write when you attempt actions.

This Brings us to the Stats
This Tabletop uses Seven Core stats that's directly linked to your performance and abilities. These stat's can only 'Increase' from special circumstances. But can 'Decrese' temporarily from events during your adventure.
I Will Refer to your Stat's as 'SPECIAL' from now on ;) And are as following...
Strenght: The ability to lift and carry stuff, as well as to perform tasks that require a bit of muscles such as pushing, pulling and punching.
Perception The Ability to See,Hear,Smell and feel things around you. Its needed to notice or spot things and/or determine what certain things are at a distance or hidden.
Endurance:How 'resistant' you are physically against taking damage and not crumble from hazards that effects your health.
Charisma Affects the ability to command others. Such as interracting with 'Npc' get information or intimidate someone.
Intelligence: Affects your understanding and ability to grasp situations mentally. It also helps you endure Trauma, and effects that tear at your mind such as 'horror' effects.
Agility: Affects your ability to climb, grapple or to balance. It also effects your initiative in dangerous situation and your ability to flee if you need to escape.
Luck:When all else fail, Luck will see that you prevail. Luck is a constant factor in everything, and the only thing that could possibly save you from death when all odds are stacked against you.

So when you encounter a problem when you need roll dices.
You roll an amount of six sided (D6) dices equal to the stat that is currently used.
For Simple and Medium Tasks: You will succeed on any amount of 6's rolled. And any other results will be discarded. If no 6's are rolled the roll is considered a failure. (Other characters can be asked to help to make it faster /easier) You can freely try again until you succeed or give up at a penalty of time being spent.
For Difficult tasks: You will need roll at least one 6 result to succeed, but also an additional 6 if you roll any '1's'. Dice's of 1 will be discarded for any retries until you either don't want to roll any longer, don't have enough time to continue... or run out of dices.
For Deadly Tasks: You will need to roll at least one six to not suffer any consequence, but any results of 1 will be considered a failed roll with an instant consequence and if you fail the roll you will suffer additional consequences until you either mange to get out of 'Danger' or run out of dices.
A character in a deadly situation must either manage to escape on their own, or be rescued by others. Failure may lead to character succumbing to the dangers and dying.

And with that out of the way I suppose we can look a bit into who your character is.
Your Main character is a Humanoid at an age of 15+. But its up to you what 'Type' of person you are, such as a Student or teacher/Average Kim/Industry worker/Soldier/etc which can help with different things in a small way such as boosting your chances of survival in certain situations.
You don't necessarily need to be fully human, but you need to have the same structure, bipedal, arms and legs... etc.
The time period is the modern era so swords might be out of place, but guns is not.
Think of the Type of work you have as your character's "Class" For the sake of the Rp, you can create a custom Class if you want, and pick freely between two types of situation where you would get a bonus for it. As well as a item of choice that goes with the class.
A Student or Teacher could get an advantage trying to solve puzzles using intelligence and finding landmarks. (They start with materials that could be used for reading, drawing and researching)
The Avrage Kim is your everyday person that might not do much out of the ordinary, but they can receive a advantage while searching for items of interest, and doing ordinary tasks. (They start with an ordinary items of choice) 'Could be any everyday object within reason)
The Industrial worker is someone who works with heavy lifting and industry, someone who receive a benefit whenever they try to use their body for physical based stuff, Both in Strength and Agility. (Could start with a single choice of tool)
The Soldier is the one that you call when stuff needs killing, they receive a bonus to Survival, finding food, water or stealth. They also knows how to put thos weapons you find to use gaining an advantage to Gun usage. (They have 2d6 Ammunition and starts with a Pistol '+2 to hit rolls')
