Ryteb stood up, tired of all this talk of 'science'. Moving towards the door, saying simply: "I don't train with darkness." The mage utilised his elemental magic to create a smokescreen to hide his direction from the others. He kept moving, trying to find a secluded spot where nobody would disturb him. His searching soon brought him to the rooftops, where he eventually found a small alcove big enough for him to meditate in. Entering into a comfortable sitting position, he began to delve into his subconsciousness. It was the one place he could truly train his magic. He had discovered this technique by accident years ago, a fair while before they had started meddling with the darkness. It looked the same as it had back then, a circular room with the yin-yang symbol for the floor. In the dots were doors, both of them locked tight. The first time he entered this place a voice had spoken to him. It had said; "One day you will have to make a choice. Will you be a light within darkness, or will you be a darkness within the light?" The young Ryteb told his mentor about this dream-like state, and Odin taught his student two techniques, how to avoid being drawn into his subconscious, and how to enter it. Over the years, he had found that the room could make doors to his memories, which he could use for training, or just to see his mentor again. "Take me to the Heartless Invasion of Terra Atum." He said, summoning his keyblade. A door appeared leading him to fields of Heartless. He knew that if he died here he'd just be returned to the door room, but this scene always terrified him. After a moments hesitation, he began to fight, using a left handed sword style so that his right hand was free for casting. He had to become strong, strong enough that he'd never have to rely on the darkness again.
