Vesta doesn't 'hate' him per say just as my edit says she is someone you need to convince with actions. So far his actions have convinced her NOT to like him. Also she is just a pretty harsh person.
If she 'hated' Kyle then she wouldn't have used his name at all. Note the politeness she used XD
I suppose so far she is just disappointed with the both of them. She doesn't like Blanc's melodramatic attitude and she doesn't like how Kyle seems to be useless. Does she hate them for it? No, not really. She won't hate someone for as petty reason as that.
Will she like you for it? Pushing it for Blanc, and Vesta just doesn't like useless people. I'm sure Vesta's mind will change over time once she sees Kyle actually accomplish something which isn't a complete clusterf*ck XD
