 Amelia quietly walked as they were led into the cafeteria, where their ‘escort’ left to probably deal with their tasks and chores. [color=8dc73f]“ Thank you...” [/color] Amelia eventually said shyly, when she was given some food and water, and then quickly moved over to what appeared to be a less populated area of the cafeteria where she sat down to have her meal.

 The sensation of food in her mouth and the taste of it after starving for a few days were something she could never forget after this, she thought. The food tasted so good that she couldn’t describe it in words even if she wanted to. That’s why instead of wasting her time thinking about it, Amelia gulped the food in big bites until there was none left form her meal. 

 [color=8dc73f]“Ahhhh….”[/color] She let out a relieved and satisfied sigh and closed her eyes for a moment, reaching over and taking a few gulps from the water. She smiled as for the first time in days she felt good. She was not hungry or thirsty, had temporary shelter from the elements at least and there were people around who (hopefully) didn’t plan her death or worse.
