The girl could make her threats all she wanted but if it came down to it, no one would remember her death. No one would bother to, that much Shizune would ensure. But she was painfully correct about one thing; this place was slowly gnarling at their ability to cooperate and work as a cohesive force. Still, Anri was just a drop in the sea of problems that stood waiting for the group. First was the horse, to which Shizune didn’t really know what to make of. Unless her memory was starting to fade away, she could not identify the creature as either friend or foe. But in this case, it was infinitely more acceptable than the second presence to appear before them, Shizune glaring at the yellow-eyed girl caked in blood. “Ignore her. She spreads only lies to keep us fighting with one another. She’s just a witch,” Shizune hissed at the newbie before being bumped from behind. At once she turned to recognize yet another student in their school, this one named Mikiena. At this point Shizune stopped questioning the direction of the hallway since front and back no longer had any meaning. Before she could answer the new girl’s question, the sound of a low whinny would make everyone turn back to the horse. The pale thing snarled and raised up its hoofs, bristling with anger at the sight of the yellow-eyed girl. With a slam of its feet, puddles of water suddenly formed around the dangerous girl, swirling about as watery appendages grappled at her ankles to keep her rooted in place. “That’s our cue to move,” she told everyone, gripping Mikiena’s hand and moving in whatever direction that carried them away from the yellow-eyed girl. So it would seem the horse was on their side after all, the pale thing snarling at the yellow-eyed girl once more before leading their group further and further away, deeper into the spiraling, never ending hallways of their nightmare school.
