Personality: Harry Dresden is a good guy, believing in protecting the weak and using his powers for the good of others. He believes in using magic for the preservation of life and will go through any means to help someone in need to the point of sustaining serious injury. Dresden is stubborn and will face down impossible challenges without fear and a sense of humor. He has a spectacular lack of regard for authority, even to the point of poking fun at beings much more powerful than himself.

[*]Harry has an ironclad loyalty to those he considers his friends and will work against his enemies at every turn. He has a tendency to keep his plans a secret however though often will dive into a situation without one. He can be unpredictable and sometimes quick to anger. His belief in the laws of magic prohibits him from using it to kill but he has fewer issues with using mundane means to this end.

[*]Abilities: Harry Dresden is a wizard that is much more capable when it comes to using evocation of brute force magic than things that require finer control. He most comfortable at using fire and force magic but is also capable of using earth, lightning and ice.

Magical focii gives him the ability to use spells that require finer control, such as his staff for general use, his blasting rod for fire magic and his shield bracelet. With the use of a magic circle can also enable Dresden to perform more structured spells for tracking and sympathy spells.

Under his mantle as the Winter Knight Harry has more control than he ordinarily would when it comes to ice magic and is perfectly surefooted when moving on ice. He is also stronger, has more willpower to fuel his spells and has a tremendous pain threshold. As a drawback he is weakened by the touch of iron or steel.

[*]Staff: Wielding in his left hand, Harry uses his staff to channel his spells. It's been enchanted with sigils used to store a portion of kinetic energy that can be unleashed all at once. He can also hit things with it.
[*]Duster: Harry's duster has a host of magical enhancements, most notably it has been shielded to protect him from impacts and bladed attacks.
[*]Blasting rod: Used to channel violent fire magic. Wielded in his right hand.
[*]Shield Bracelet: Worn on his wrist and used to create force fields. He is capable of doing without but the bracelet makes it faster and easier.
