[@dragonmancer] I think Kilgarrah would like the reasoning idea more. But I want to showcase how the power of Asivar's taming works. It's not a conventional way. It doesn't work through capturing it, nursing it, feeding it and letting it grow with care. It's a more agressive form. It's more of capturing it and then breaking its will. More like forcing it in a battle of will and strength (through the power of the Yui). Of course, only Asivar could do that to a sentient Long. I'd imagine no average human without aid could do it. But the element of "breaking" the will of the dragon is very important. Yes, I do realize Kilgarrah would probably take offense in this.
