Posted, but wait...there's more! After conferring with dragonmancer, here's our first 'World Event.' Feel free to respond to it as you like. WORLD EVENT: Welcome Home! Unbeknownst to the Pantheon, Erathel, the largest landmass on Gaea, has become a battlefield between four powerful demon lords. During the Silence, each of these formidable individuals tried to conquer the continent, but they were too evenly matched and established a fragile peace instead. One of these demons, Azmodan, also known as the Bane of Ermio and the Malady That Walks, has just learned the gods and goddesses have returned to Gaea. Although his mystical abilities are impressive enough to give a deity pause, Azmodan knows he’d probably be destroyed in a battle against most members of the Pantheon. Fearing the loss of his status as Demon Lord of the South, Azmodan has dispatched small groups of bloodthirsters, demonic warriors sworn to serve the demon lords, to gauge the strength of Erathel’s southern settlements. While these scouting parties haven’t taken any aggressive actions yet, bloodthirsters aren’t known for their restraint and good humor. Thus far, these lesser demons have been seen near Ha’zufel, Talpike, River Deep and Mumue. Each group of bloodthirsters is led by a demon carrying a teardrop-shaped sapphire pendant attached to a fine silver chain. A watery black fluid sloshes around inside the gemstone, though no god or mortal knows the unusual object’s purpose. Even the god of sorcery, Dormammus, would be unable to discern what the item is. This is because only a demon can use these mindstones to converse with Azmodan, though a god or goddess could unravel the artifact’s secrets if given enough time.
You forgot the goddess of secrets, whom would be very interested in ascertaining the function of the gems. XD. Unless you want her to know... then that case the cost for a good hint is extraordinarily high
