His pace was still strong and his eyes were still wide. Hours upon hours passed in this manor. At one point or another, he had put away his Poke Ball. Reading Pokedex entries seemed to be all that he cared about. He had emerged from the mountain side forests and made his way through the beautiful rolling fields. The sun was starting to fade as he finally reached the edge of the city. There were so many people and Pokemon to boot. It seemed as though most people were walking side by side with a Pokemon. Some people even sported utility belts, showing of a collection of Poke Balls. Now it started to hit him. He had spent the entire day walking and hadn't decided on catching a single Pokemon. It was like college hunting all over again. What school would have the best program; what Pokemon would become the strongest? What was the reputation of each school; what Pokemon were known as the best? Which school had the best social atmosphere; which Pokemon would make the best friend? These questions and more haunted Nick's mind, slowing his pace to something more of a slumped stroll. Down the street he walked with both his Pokedex and Poke Ball hidden in his front pockets; both of which were covered carefully by his hands.
