Okay I know she's strange but I'm working on her still which is why I present her rough outline

[b][color=E6E6FA]Personality : [/color][/b] Mika is a shy girl who's also driven by an insatiable curiosity which insures that she'll get close to others around her though her approach will be hesitant like a deer.

Quick to learn her grades are good in the areas her parents taught her in such as math and science but suffer in areas like computers because she's never had access to them.

Restless and athletic she might be seen as a daredevil because of her habit of climbing atop things and walking on fences but she in fact feels little or no thrill doing such things. She feels no fear of heights only a feeling of safety being difficult to reach. 

Sweet once she opens up to people Mika tries hard to make those she likes feel happy and can be overly familiar physically when trying to cheer up a friend.

[b][color=E6E6FA]History : [/color][/b] Mika was born the only child of Ms. Hannah Wright her father's identity unknown. 

Her early childhood was as normal as could be expected and a happy one till her mom noticed at the age of nine Mika's ears began to change week by week becoming pointed and furry. By age ten her ears had become so pronounced they couldn't be hidden any longer so her mother removed her from school rather than have her exposed to ridicule and harassment.

Her physical changes began to multiply when her tails began to appear so that by age 14 she had been radically altered in such a noticeable manner she couldn't go out in public less she cause some form of Panic.

It appeared to mother an daughter that Mika would lead a near solitary life from then on till the day an invitation arrived from the Academy. By no means did this mean that it was an instant decision to have her attend. Rather it was a long an involved process where first her mom came to the school without her and observed the campus and classes as well as the staff at the school before both made a trip an looked at the school together then returned home to make a final decision.

Mika's physical alterations are so extreme that she can only hide them with a great deal of effort that even then draws attention to her.
Her ears, eyes and tails are her most notable features and grant her various physical skills outside of normal humanity.

Ears - Extending nearly half a foot above her head Mika's ears are not mere decoration but are instead sensors that allow her to hear sounds either too faint or outside of normal human ranges. They make stealthy approaches of Mika nearly impossible in all but noisy environments.

Eyes - Her eyes are similar in pupil shape to cat's eyes and like a cat's give her a wider peripheral vision (200 degrees compared to 180 for normal humans). They also contain a similar number of rods for collecting light as do felines giving her excellent low light vision.

Tails - These are without a doubt her most unusual features and an obvious source of her physical talents because of visual effects that occur manifested by "Tail Quirks"

 First observed is when she drops to all fours and runs at nearly 35 mph for about 100 yards. (The visible effect is her tails twist tightly together just before she takes off running and unwind as she goes)

Second is seen when she switches to combat speed where she moves twice as fast as the fastest human. (Her tails bush up and crackle with static discharges which grow weaker after a few seconds an she's out of gas an normal in 30 seconds and must be victorious or retreat in 20 and rest about 5 minutes her recharge rate reflected by how actively her tails move)

On a different note her twin tails give Mika a built in counter balance the envy of the feline world allowing her to walk a high wire as others do a sidewalk and this ability is inherent.
