[@Dynamo Frokane] Your 'false biblical claims' are real to them. In the end it doesn't really matter. It doesn't make them stupid - it just makes their ideas stupid. You know how even ideas that were considered to be fact were later disproven by other scientists? So.. anyone that believed those otherwise largely true theories were idiots? Or what, how does it work?
I'll tell you how it works, back then the science wasnt advanced enough, thats why people thought the sun was smaller than the earth and it rose in the west and set in the east. Now we have testable evidence to prove that's not the way things work. If i said 2+2 is 5 and thats my beleif then I would be stupid to believe that for no good reason other than 'I want it to be'. Ideas are not protected, and your ideas inform your character specifically when you are a politician. I wouldnt want someone that ignorant in charge of my school system, teaching kids to throw out science books and get all your facts about the world from the fucking bible, THAT would be stupid. EDIT: I just noticed you put false biblical claims in quotatiouns as if its just my opinion that its false. I can tell you that there was no talking snake that made eve bite an apple 6000 years ago, and there was no noah's ark, that's fact.
