Abigail looked pretty focused on the battle now, although the challenging smirk she gave their opponents made it pretty clear she was pleased with how her move had turned out. It looked like Winston would be on his own for now, though, as the bird attacked him. He seemed to have taken a little damage in the collision, but he still had plenty of fight left in him that was for sure. Messing with the other team's plan that much was probably worth it.

Still, she had to focus on trying to keep her Pokemon active. His defence was down because of the Leer, which had caught him just as he was getting back up. Wow, that bird was kinda fast! Winston wasn't exactly the same way, though, which could be an issue. As the Peck approached, she looked at the bird. It wasn't very big, but she didn't want Winston to take too many attacks from it right now. But he wasn't really fast enough to dodge. Well, there wasn't really any other option - she'd have to hope his attacks were as strong as they'd seemed.

Abigail figured it wasn't likely to stop the other Pokemon in its tracks, but hopefully its advance would get slowed down by the force of the water. If it wasn't moving too fast, it might not get as much power behind its Peck either. And the attack would hopefully do a bit of damage to the Natu anyway.
