For hundreds of years, dragons were just a myth told through movies, books and even games. For a longest time, mythical creatures were non existent, but now everything is about to change. Deep within a hidden cave, lies the nest of of dragons from hundreds of years ago. After waiting for so long, it is finally time for the eggs to hatch. The return of the dragons is finally here.

Blue and Shenron

The first egg to hatch was an icy blue egg. It wiggled softly, side to side, until eventually, a small crack formed on the egg. Then, out came a small black and blue dragon. She rose her head up slowly and looked around. The gem on her forehead glowed brightly. As she looked around, she could hear things in her head.

'My egg is hatching. Is it time to come out?'

Blue then looked towards a large white egg, her icy blue eyes stared at it, seeing the crack in the egg. After a moment of it moving about, the egg cracked some more and out came a white dragon with a light green fur travelling down his back, and some on his tail. He had two horns coming up from his head. He stood up slowly and looked around, then looked to Blue who was the only other dragon that had hatched yet.

"It seems everyone is starting to hatch."

Blue looked around at all the different eggs, before looking back towards Shenron. She gave a small smile and a nod of her head in agreement. Dragons were starting to hatch, and so far they were the first two.

"Yes, but I don't think all the eggs will hatch at the same time. It may be a little while before the others hatch, but I don't know."

She looked around again and sat herself down. Shenron stood forward slowly and stood by her side, waiting for the eggs to hatch. He would only wait a few minutes. He wasn't waiting forever.

Midnight

Further back in the room was a dark purple egg. It shook softly, and cracks were beginning to form. After about a minute, the egg broke, and out came a pure purple dragon. She looked around, before looking back in the egg to see that another dragon had been hatched with her. She stared at Shade for a moment before looking around.

"It seems we're finally out of that egg."

She looked back to the egg once more to see a large dark puddle flood out of the egg, as it did the rocks and the floor began to cinder and melt a little, until the purple puddle disappeared. Midnight then stretched herself out and let out a loud yawn, suddenly, a sound wave was released and travelled in all four directions of the cave and as quickly as they went, they came back. Suddenly, Midnight's eyes widened for a moment and she looked around.

"We're not alone. There is something here with us, but, just further up ahead, there are two more dragons about to hatch too and the thing, whatever it is is dangerously close to them."

She looked to Shade, the one who hatched with her for he was the only one she trusted at the moment, considering he did hatch when she did.

Skyro

A pure purple egg moved side to side slowly. It cracked slightly in the sunlight which shone down from above. As the egg continued to roll, the crack grew larger and soon enough, out came a purple dragon with not one, not two, not three, not even four, but five horns! He came out the egg slowly, revealing two orbs in his wings. He then looked up to the sunlight was flew up to escape when suddenly the left orb glowed brightly and spoke.

"Skyro, don't fly out to the surface. Not yet, we do not know what may be out there, and you have only just hatched. There must be other dragons here. Let see if we can find them first.

Suddenly, the right orb glowed and spoke afterwards.

"But how do we know we can trust those dragons, that is if they are any dragons around."

Skyro landed on the ground slowly and looked around before speaking himself.

"I think she is right, I am going to look around."

The orbs fell silent and Skyro left the room slowly. He looked around to see a small fire. His head twisted for a second, wondering who was there, but his question was quickly answered however when a group of orcs came our of hiding and sat down by the fire. Skyro immediately retreated back into the room and got as far away as possible. He was trapped, and he didn't know what to do.

Kaz

Kaz's head finally popped out of the egg. "It's time? But why is it do dark in here?" He was looking around but couldn't see anything. Then he found a hole that looked too small Even for him but he went over to it anyway and tried to force his way through. He was surprised when he slipped right through it and popped out in a area with eggs laying all over the place. "Hello? Is anyone there?". No answer, so he continued to explore the cave and look for other hatchlings.

Terror

Terror woke up from his sleep, he had been ready to hatch for quite some time so he was already to big to fit comfortably in his egg but since he hadn't had s thought yet he didn't realize he was alive. He Finally hears voices outside his egg. "Wha-" he had just fallen out of his egg. He doesn't know whether or not he can trust whoever he heard so he stays out sight for now. While sneaking towards the voices he heard he sees two other hatchlings standing with each other. One had horns like him but had a long wingless body, and the other had a gem in its head. He decided he'd watch them a bit longer before revealing himself.

Tarama

Beside one side of the wall laid two eggs leaning against each other. They were slightly hidden thanks to the way the cave walls were shaped. In their partially private little corner Tarama shifted inside her egg once more, trying to get the warm to respond to her nugging. This time she did it with much more vigor, maybe the most vigor she ever did as she made her egg move and tip over. "Uh..." There was the smallest crack in her shell, reasoning when it already is cracked she could peek outside she pushed against the egg shell.
Once.
Twice.
Three times and the crack grow bigger. Maybe she could see the other who responded to her nudging over her time inside the egg. Now she twisted and pushed until the shell broke and she found herself laying in pieces of her egg. There was light in the cave but it didnt really reached them as she was in the shadow of the wall.

Tarama twisted and stretched her wings it was fascinating. She turned her head instinctively back and sure enough there was another egg. She grinned wide and tackled the egg. That didnt had the desired effect, which was anything at all to happen.

She nuzzled the still whole egg shifting to be wrapped around it. Curiously she inspected it and looked back at her egg shells. They were looking similar. SHe hummed pleased at the discovery and bumped her head once more against the egg. "Come out." Then she stubbornly waited not moving her eyes from the similar egg to her own, ever so often giving a hum.

Jaycinq
Jaycinq's egg was in a precarious part of the cave. Somehow during her incubation she had managed to roll into an old bone pile. The part of the floor she was on was slanted. One wrong move and she would roll down the slight slope.

She could hear the other eggs beginning hatch and she could hear the voices of the other dragons as they began to talk. Even though the voices were faint. She was curious and so her egg moved. She didn't know if anyone had noticed her movement but she continues to move within the egg. Her egg was a dark black colour with bright vibrant green veins along the egg.

Jaycinq used her egg tooth to chip and crack pieces of egg off. The egg wobbled from left to right as cracks began to appear in the egg. Jaycinq moved a little too quickly as her egg slid downwards for a couple of seconds before a couple of wobbles later and a few pieces of egg shell later, she burst forth from the egg dramatically as she hissed in annoyance.

Zinc
Zinc was a quiet dragon. He liked the feel of being in a quiet environment which was why he had never made the move he was content with what he was. He was frozen in time, his blue egg with white veins along its surface was still. Still until he heard the sounds of other eggs hatching. He shifted in his egg. His curiosity was getting the better of him.

maybe now is the time to hatch, maybe i've been asleep for far too long.

Zinc slowly nibble at his egg from the inside. As he began creating holes in his egg the cracks began to grow. Soon he could see out of the egg. He peered through but didn't see much. So he stuck his head out, and broke the egg even more in the process. He sat like that for a little while before the cracks in his egg had spread too far and shattered the egg entirely. As soon as the shell broke a bolt of lighting illuminated the cave briefly. He sat there on the cold floor wide eyed. He was stunned and shocked, his four feathered wings uncurled slowly and he shifted them before resting them against his back.

Mytle
Mytle's egg was bright orange with black splotches on it and was near the centre of the cave. Her egg was quite large and so was she for a hatchling. The egg rocked back and forth vigorously. Cracks begin to appear. Soon enough she had burst forth from her egg ready to meet the world and see what it had to offer.

As soon as she had hatched she was bombarded with new scents and sounds to explore. She could smell the others that were around and decided to head towards them boldly.

Veilan
Laying next to the wall, he sat still. He waited to hear if others began to emerge from their eggs, if there even were any others. He quietly waited as he felt a slight shift nearby. A noticable shift shook him moments afterwards, causing whatever the source was to move away."Uh..." A faint mumble emerged from outside. Veilan wanted to try to tell them that he was here, that he was alive, but he was too weak.

The nearby hatchling escaped from their egg, leaving him stuck here alone. "No, don't leave me!" Veilan tried to yell, but couldn't. Suddenly, the walls surrounding him violently shook as something outside decided to tackle his egg. Could they be trying to help? Another slight head-butt tapped against the shell. "They must really want me out of here," he thought.

"Come out." a slightly feminine voice said.

Was it time? Was it safe to break out of the egg? He felt like he had laid here for an eternity, waiting for some calling to awaken him. A soft hum soothed his thoughts. The shakings stopped, but warmth comforted him as him laid against the wall, waiting for another response. He mustered his strength and vigorously kicked at the shell of the egg. A small crack appeared on the surface. He proceeded to kick at the egg, causing the crack to increase in size. A curious warble came from the other dragon next to him, stubbornly waiting for him to break out.

Veilan broke out of his egg, looking up at the small, feminine dragon. She quickly and curiously began to sniff at him. Veilan looked at the fragments of our eggs in the confusion, noticing a small glimmer mixed in with the similar coloured shells. There laid a small, silvery-gold, gem-encrusted pendant. He took it and threw it around his neck before the curious dragon was able to notice what he was doing.

Tarama

Tarama watched, at first nothing happened, so she waited some more. She wasnt sure how much time has exactly passed but then a small shake and a crack appeared. Her eyes grow bigger as she sat there and watched the crack grow. It was fascinating, here she sat watching another egg hatch.

"Come out." She once more suggested, encouraged and the crack grow a lot bigger.Then in a surprise the other dragon broke out of his egg causing Tarama to flap in surprise her wings before she looked at the other dragon. He looked up at her. Her tail flickered as she took another sniff.

"Hello brother." She said with a underlaying hum, her brother motion of grabbing and throwing something did took her attention and she noticed a shiny thing slipping over his neck.
"Huh? What is that? Its pretty."

Tarama lowered her head to better observe the pedant. As she stared at the pretty gemstone shifting in place she added. "I was named Tarama... I think, you?"

He was safe at least that what he believed, the new voices and taps of small feet not far off was making him nervous. He shifted inside his egg trying to be smaller than he was. He listened to his small heart pounding. There was silence for such a long time. His egg was too small to contain him and as he tried to shift his tail a bit a crack echoed the inside of his world.

A moment later the shell broke around him and disoriented he rolled out of it. This he wasnt all too sure was a good idea. He looked around and to his surprise something fast lightened the cave blinging him for several moments. Stepping one step back he saw as his vision returned that from where the loud sound and light come sat a four winged dragon. He wasnt alone.

"Why did you do that?" He said surprised at his own voice, and crawling at the stony floor he was standing on.

Veilan
"I was named Tarama... I think, you?"

"I heard something like 'Veilan' or so, I don't entirely know."

"So what is that? It's very pretty." Tarama said, focusing on the pendant around his neck.

"I don't know, it's some sorta pendant. It's too dark for observing details in here."

Looking around, Veilan noticed 2 exits on the opposite side of the cave along with plenty of ehgs and hatchlings in the center. He curiously walked towards them, revealing 2 more exits behind him.

He looked around and noticed more dragons begin to hatch. Watching them do so was fascinating. To see other dragons relieved him, meaning that they weren't alone.

"So, any idea where we should start?

Crystalline

Crystalline was in a pure crystal egg. The egg was impossible to hatch by normal means. When Crystalline was awake in her egg, she used her natural ability of crystal manipulation, and opened up the egg herself. She climbed out slowly and looked around. There were a few dragons already hatched it seemed. She stepped forward and spoke softly.

"Hello everyone. How long have you been hatched for?"

She looked around and saw four different exits, four different ways to go. Which one was best to travel down?

Drayko

Drayko's egg hatched slowly, and with the extra weight, it toppled over and smashed to the ground. Drayko got himself up and looked around, then saw Ryu next to him. It seemed that they had hatched together. He looked around once more, seeing all four exits. He then looked to the other hatchlings.

"There are four exits. Which way do we go?"

He was talking to nobody in particular, but simply asking himself as he look around at all four exits.

Smoke

Smoke hatched soon after Drayko and Ryu. He came out of his egg and looked around. He was a black Chinese Dragon, and funny enough, there was another dragon just like him, but white. He looked at all four exits and then looked around, seeing a few people had hatched already.

"Hello everyone."

It was wise to get to know each other before trying to work out a plan and deciding what to do, or, so he thought anyway.

Cinder

Cinder hatched soon after. She looked around and then stepped forward. There were four exits, but a lot of hatchlings. Not everyone would be going in the same direction. One led north, south, west and east. She wasn't sure which way she would go yet.

"Hello everyone. Does anyone have any idea what the exits lead to?"

She looked around at each of the hatchlings, waiting for answers. Since they been hatched longer, it was possible that they may know something about the area, but perhaps they didn't.

Ryu

Ryu opened his eyes as he heard his brother speak "There are four exits. Which way do we go?" Ryu could feel the flow of air coming from outside he sat up and looked to his brother

"all four lead outside but i cant tell witch one is the shortest route"

Ryu then looked to the other dragons to see what they would pick

Bolt

Bolt woke up when he heard his brother nibble at the egg Bolt then took a quick look around to see the other dragons he jumped out of the shell and ran up to all the other dragons and took a quick sniff of them to learn their sents he then spoke up load enough for everyone to Hear

"hi my name is Bolt and this is my brother Zinc nice to meat everyone so is everyone hatched now or are we still waiting on someone?"

Hale

Hale was in a ocean blue egg in the corner of the room as she woke up she heard the voices of the other dragons as they talked among themselves she kicked the egg but noting happened she kicked it again and a small crack formed in the egg after a few more kicks the egg broke open she got up and looked around wondering what everyone would decide to do.

Shade

Shade woke up as he heard his sisters voice he looked around and listened to what she said and he thought for a second

"well we only have two options we ever leave them to fend for themselves or we go and help them although if we all worked together we should be able to handle anything"

Shade then waited to see what the other dragons would decided to do.

Tarama

Tamara watched her brother climb out their nest and she followed him, it was fascinating to notice how big the room was, and Especially how many different dragons there were all looking young or as if they are freshy hatch. Just like them. But not exactly like them. Some were more scall covered and some were smaller and some bigger.

What her ears did pick up was that most didnt appear to know where to go. Just like her and her brother.

"So, any idea where we should start?" She was asked by Veilan. She gave a quick look around as well, and decided to see for herself. If no one else was offering any lead she will just take direction.

"Lets go to this one." She pointed with her claw at the east tunnel. "Anyone want to come along? " She called louder so the several hatchlings that were closer to them could hear them. Tarama jumped and run to the exist and sniffed the air. She noticed a lot of smells and she had no idea what any of those were. She heard someone mention outside but she had even less of a concept what is outside and what would involve. He curiosity driving her to find out all the answers. She stepped in one step and looked behind to see if Veilan followed and who else of the dragon hatchlings did.

"What are you waiting for? Werent we all for a forever waiting in our eggs? "

Tarama encouraged stretching once more her wings and legs. It felt so amazing to be able to move.

Blue

Blue looked around as everyone hatched, she had to admit, there were more dragons hatching than she thought they'd be. She overheard Midnight and looked over to her for a moment, tilting her head before looking at Ryu. So, if there were four exits, and all four of them led out of the cave, then it wouldn't be bad if they split up. They couldn't keep it completely even, but it would be close enough, and as best as she could do.

"Everyone, I think we should split up! We should form three groups of two, and one group of three and each go in different directions. If Ryu is right, then we should all end up outside. Does everyone agree?"

She looked around slowly, wondering which way she would go herself.

Shenron

Shenron watched as dragons hatched, and then Blue came up with a plan. He stared at her, before giving a a soft nod. He didn't have a plan of his own, and so far, it was the only plan on the table. He looked towards Tarama before walking up to him with a small nod.

"You said your name was Tarama, correct? My name is Shenron, we will be the first group of three."

He looked down the east tunnel, before looking at Veilan. He was ready to go whenever they were. He wondered though, what would they encounter, if anything?

Midnight

Midnight looked to Shade and gave a soft nod, then looked over to Blue as she made a plan. So far, there was nobody to trust. The only person she trusted so far was Shade. She looked over to her before looking at everyone else.

"We'll be the first two group and we will head south."

She nodded to Shade before going down towards south. Before she fully entered the tunnel, she looked over to Shade and waited. Now there was only north and west to go, that is if everyone decided to follow the plan.

Skyro

Skyro got up slowly, taking a deep breath. He looked outside once more, and the Orcs were still there. He looked to the Orbs for a second before looking back to the Orcs.

"Is there any way I can make myself not be seen?"

Suddenly, one of the orbs glowed a soft blue colour.

"Yes, you just need to focus and think about not being seen."

Skyro then looked to the other orb and as he did it glowed a dark red.

"Or you can just fly out of the ceiling."

Skyro looked up slowly, before sighing. He wanted to make sure he was with somebody first. He didn't know what was out there, and he didn't want to find out alone.

"I will leave when I am with somebody else."

He closed his eyes softly, trying to focus. As he did, the orbs glowed together, and a purple barrier appeared around him. He looked around, he couldn't see it, but he could feel it. He nodded, before slowly walking out. He went past the Orcs slowly, hoping they wouldn't see him. After a minute or so of looking around, Skyro eventually came in the room where all the other dragons were, coming in from the north exit.

"Oh, hello everyone. I am glad that there are others here. I didn't want to be alone."

He gave a small smile, and suddenly, the barrier disappeared. It seemed he could only use it for a short time.

Jaycinq
Jaycinq looked around but remained pretty quiet and just survayed her surroundings, but didn't comment or say a word instead she walked into the center of the room. She then looked for all four exsits and decided to slowly make up her mind, after all there was no need to be hasty. If she had to chose a direction it would be in her own time. Luckly it did not take her long to choose.

"I choose North..." she would say but that was all.

Zinc
Zinc looked at Kamen, "i..i didn't mean to." he would stutter as he looked around. It wasn't long till the egg near him hatched. Zinc would notice that the dragon next to him looked very similar to him, so he only assumed that he was his brother. Unfortuantly Zinc wasn't as confident as his brother Bolt so he stayed relitivly quiet. He would sniff the air, he could smell something but had no idea what it was. He decided to follow his brother Bolt.

"Bolt you need to calm yourself, 'm folowing you where ever you go Bolt."

Mytle
Mytle stood tall and decided to sniff Bolt and the others. She wondered why everyone was taking so long to decide where to go. All Mytle wanted was to find a body of water to swim in. Although she can walk on land her movement was rather awkward as she used her wings as arms while on land. However just because her movement was awkward it didn't mean she was slow, quite the oppasite really. She was quite quick on land but that may be due to her stride length. She looked at all the possible exsit before deciding on the one to use. She did a quick sniff and chose north. [b]"well im going this way, your welcome to follow if you want." she would say to everyone. She had heard the plan one of the dragons voiced so waited at the entrance for the others.

The dragon who blinded him with lighting apologized Kamen nodded and sat down. It was good he didnt try to hurt him. Before he could properly get his bearings he overheard other dragons talk about leaving the cave and how they should all part way and check whats in those tunnels. He definitely didnt like that idea at all.

He will just simple sit here and wait... Only he will be most likely alone. He liked that idea even less. Most dragons were already making their way into a tunnel or the other. Two slipped into the north one some went into the east, while the dragons who made the plan went south. There was not much option left but to go west. Not that he cared about plans. Looking over to the four winged dragons, he approached them carefully. "Um... I am Kamen. Could we go together ... or stay here together? "

Tarama

"You said your name was Tarama, correct? My name is Shenron, we will be the first group of three."

Tarama swung her tail slowly tilting her head, the gem on her forehead catching for a moment a bit of shine. "I said that to my little brother. But you heard it well. I dont know your name." She started walking down the part a bit, before she stopped once more to check where her brother is.

"I like your colors, your tail looks really fluffy." Tarama commented looking over herself, she didnt really spend time looking how she looked. She knew she had wings, a tail, four legs and claws. After a moment of self observation she looked over the white hatchlings.

"Where are your wings? "
