"Very funny. Here," Crowe handed him a couple dollars she got as a tip. "Don't waste it." she gave him a smile and started to wipe down the bar. When his teacher came in, Crowe handed Raven her drink and started to clean the dirty glasses on the bar and set them in their places, giving K.C. a slight look. As they talked, she listened and helped an older gentleman to a seat.

Coming back to the conversation she heard the bots uneasiness when it cam to the Briarwhites. "What's wrong with the Briarwhite's?" Crowe spoke in a playful tone. "Yours truly got raised by one for part of her life. They aren't up to anything really that I was aware of. Just because there's Grimms doesn't mean there can't be Briarwhites." Crowe finished washing the glasses and helped out another customer. She didn't want to start a long conversation with the two while she was still on her shift, but she wanted to have a chat with his teacher.

"Hey, you fail and I'll stop giving freebie drinks. You're lucky I know the owners." Crowe shot K.C. another look. One not of disappointment but playful threatening. "Now, would you go on the other side of the bar? I do get in trouble for that mister." Crowe smiled and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Move along." she added.

K.C. jumped over the bar as Jack stumbled in. "Mortales, impediendum motum. Manipulate memoria eorum!" He called. He watched as half the people in the bar stopped moving and their eyes glazed over. The other half, the witches and warlocks, looked around in confusion. "Jacky!?" K.C. ran to his little cousin. He had scratches and cuts all over his body and his sabre looked as if it was about to break. "Raven, Crowe, come with me!" He pointed to a warlock by the name of Jenkins, "Take Jack to the Witch House!" K.C. ran outside and saw that Jack's apartment was on fire. "Fuck." K.C. began sprinting toward the complex. When he reached it, he burst through the door into a blazing lobby. A troll was staring down at him, hundreds of pieces of jewelry adorned his person. K.C. drew his sword and lopped its head off in one motion.

Before Raven had the chance to respond to Crowe, Jack came in and passed out on the floor. "Wait! Raven yelled to Jenkins, let me at least begin the healing process." She ran over to Jack and said "Curare illis altum vulnera!" She looked at Jenkins and spoke, "That will keep him alive until I get back." She then ran and followed K.C. to Jack's apartment. Shit She thought when she saw the flames. But then they saw something even more terrifing, a troll.

"Praesidium nobis a periculum" She put up a protective sheild around her, K.C. and Crowe. She then watched as K.C. killed the troll.

"What the hell?" Gavin had shot out of the school immediately once the bell rang, and now he had just seen an apartment practically explode, an odd monster out of his elder's stories, and the Grimm from before slashing its head off in one smooth motion. Gulping, he gripped his dagger under his coat.

"Umbra arma ego." His shadow grew into a group of tendrils as he ducked into an alley, the shadows therein mixing and becoming a part of himself. It was a short spell that still managed to be more viable than the vast majority of his incantations. He manipulated the shadows very slowly, allowing him to slink away within.

Eventually I'm going to have to talk to him. He realized.

K.C. felt his mark tingle in that foreign feeling. He knew the Briarwhite boy was around somewhere. He looked around but couldnt see anyone. "We'll meet soon." He muttered to himself. He headed deeper into the flaming building to look for more creatures.

Raven looked around and spoke to K.C. with authority. "K.C. we need to take care of Jack. Crowe can put out the fire. But I need to get to Jack now. " Keeping the protective shield up was going to weaken her soon and she needed her energy to heal Jack.

"You're right. Hey cuzzo, hold down the fort." He jogged after Raven and exited the flaming building with her. He looked down and saw his white tshirt and blue jeans were covered in soot and ash. "We really need to get home." He looked up ahead where the great mansion known as the Witch House resided upon a hill known as Coven Crest. It overlooked all of Citadel County and could be seen from almost anywhere in town. When they finally arrived, K.C. threw open the door and stood in the entryway for a second. To his left was the doorway to the dining room which also lead to the kitchen. To his right was the doorway to the living room. In the living room was a door to the basement as well as a hall that lead to other rooms. Directly ahead of him was the staircase. On either side of the staircase was a door that each lead to different sections of the house. He ran up the steps and turned left, down the hall and left again at the second door. He entered his room which was decorated with many Twenty One Pilots posters, littered with weapon and books, and all in all, a cozy room fit for a teenager. He walked to his walk-in closet and changed into a red TOP shirt and black jeans. He ran back downstairs and into the living room where Raven knelt over Jack. "How is he?" he asked.

Crowe followed, yelling to the owner of the bar she would be back. Running after K.C. she stayed close behind the boy. "Don't tell me this is happening more often?" Crowe shook her head thinking about how many incidents had been occurring recently. Even though she knew magic herself, she didn't use it around others. Crowe resulted to her blade instead of magic, magic was for emergencies.

As the got to the flaming lobby she watched him take care of the troll, then she quickly ran off to find the fire extinguisher or a hose. The heat was intense so she ended up deciding to break her rule and tone down the flames a bit. Not completely putting them out, but lessen them. Crowe had made she no one had seen her do it so she didn't have to explain anything. "K.C! We gotta do something about these flames!" she shouted back to the other two. As she said that, the complex's water sprinklers began to rain water down on them. "Or not," she spoke softly to herself. It was weird that they hadn't turned on before hand, but she was glad they turned on at all.

Crowe jogged back over to Raven and nodded. "Thank you, by the way." her tone returned to grateful and sweet. She shot a slight smile then leaned on her hip."Can you at least un-slow all my customers on your way mister." Crowe crossed her arms and glared at K.C. "I do have to get back as soon as possible." she added.

Crowe gave a slight chuckle and looked back to the dying flames. "See ya, kid." she called back. She had not known about her cousins for most of her life, but it felt nice having a living relative, or two.

When all the fires were out she sighed and walked back to her bar, covered in ash. Dusting herself off, she didn't pay much attention walked into the street. As she walked a car screeched to a stop, just narrowly missing her. The driver yelled and Crowe just kindly got out of their way. Once back in the bar she muttered, "carmine dimittis" under her breath and everything went back to normal. Since it was the end of her shift she placed her towel on the counter behind the bar and walked to the back where she relief was getting their apron on. "See, ya tomorrow Drew." Crowe said as she hung her apron, grabbed her bicycle bag and walked out the back door.

Her whole walk home Jack was on her mind. He looked pretty bagged up when her got to the bar. "Hope the kid is okay." she said as she fiddled with her necklace. Taking back streets she phased her way down the street until she got to her studio apartment, half not caring if anyone say her. "It's been a long day." Crowe said as she opened her door and flopped down onto the couch to think about everything.

Jack thought he was dead. He was in a burning town, monsters surrounding him. He had no weapon, or magic. He ran and ran, but they would always be there. He eventually ended up in his apartment, having barricaded it. He could hear them roaring at the metal he had used. He sighed, knowing this was where it would end.

"Thank you, by the way."
Raven looked at Crowe and smiled, "It's no problem. This is what I do. But I need to get going. See you around."

Raven walked up to the Witch House and went to Jack immediately. She looked at Jenkins and gave a friendly smile. "Thank you for watching him Jenkins, but I'll handle it from here." She turned back to Jack, deciding she needed to assess the severity of his injuries. "Quam malus sunt quod iniurias" This spell caused Jack to glow a color in the spots of his wounds. The color determined the severity. His wounds glowed an orange color. Her prior healing spell must have worked since he wasn't red.

Raven heard K.C. walk in, so she looked up at him.
"How is he?"
"He will be fine, but I'll probably be here overnight healing him. He is too young to be living on his own, plus his apartment is probably burnt down. I'll need to speak with your parents because he has to stay here with you guys or with me. We can't allow this to happen again."

Raven looked back at Jack, she placed her hands on two wounds on his stomach starting there. She chanted over and over "Curare." Whenever K.C. answered her she could use that quick time as a break to regain some strength. It was going to be a long night.

K.C. put his hand on Raven's shoulder and muttered "Transferre me virtus mea." He felt his energy flow through his fingertips and into her. "There. That should keep you going for at least a few hours. Let me know if you need it again." K.C. sat in a recliner next to the couch that Jack lay upon. In front of the couch was a coffee table and beyond that, a large fireplace with a tv above it. Below the tv rested a medieval bastard sword, the blade, engraved with rose vines. Rose vines also made up the guard and the pommel was shaped like black rose. The sword had many names but in his home it was referred to as Grimmsoule. It was the ancestral sword of the Grimm family from Germany.

K.C. got tired of waiting around. He grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. He put his phone and wallet in his pocket and clipped his blade to his belt. "Raven i'm gonna go for a walk." He strode out the door, down the lane and into the streets of town.

Gavin sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets. He was tired, not like he wanted to sleep, just a bad feeling. Looking around, he took out his dagger and activated his shadow. Taking out his little ball, he threw it to the tendrils, which knocked it back, thinking it a threat that it had to knock away. He did this for a while, turning it off whenever he saw someone walking by.

K.C. rounded a corner and saw the Briarwhite boy from earlier. He walked over, trying to be as silent as possible. "Having fun?" K.C. asked, standing behind the guy.

@RangerOfTheRit Gavin shrieked and leapt into the air, deactivating his shadow and taking a ridiculous fighting pose. He looked at his hands and put away the ball, still holding his knife.

"Still not allowed to talk to you." He reiterated, waving his dagger to emphasize his speech.

Raven

Raven felt some of K.C.s powers flow into her, but she just kept chanting. When he said he was going for a walk she simply nodded and kept at her work.

Clara

Clara felt good. She knew she wasn't going to get much sleep tonight. She had been practicing her magic and was able to summon a fairly powerful vampire, the ones she normally manages are weak and easily killed. She playfully skipped along when she saw Gavin playing with his shadows again. She sighed, but before she walked up she saw a Grimm boy approach Gavin. "Scum." She muttered to her self. She walked up with a fake smile on her face. "Well hey Gavin, who's your friend?" Her voice was sarcastically sweet. The boy might not catch on to her attitude but Gavin surely would.

@Ayemdar Gavin gulped. This was something he wasn't ready for. He was just walking home bored, now he had to deal with his cousin and a Grimm. Barring his teeth, he gripped his blade tight and channeled his magic, mouthing 'sorry' to the Grimm, attempting to assure Clara didn't see.

"Umbra arma ego." His shadow grew from the ground, taking physical form.

"Just dealing with a problem." He said, trying to sound as threatening as possible.

"Won't you join me?"
