Adrian would have continued their conversation about the horses but the light outburst from Alessandra didn't sit well with him. He stopped walking and turned around, the smile that was on his face only a few moments ago had been already been replaced with a dark frown. His hazel eyes flashed with increduoulity. I had no intention of offending you,"[/color] his voice dripped sarcasm. He stared at her for a second and mentally thanked his mother for attaching to him a girl that did not know her place. He turned around and walked away, his strides long and fast. He didn't look back and he didn't speak again.

It took several minutes to get to a huge ornate door. But before Alessandra could take a better look inside, Adrian turned around and blocked the doorway. I care not what you do. Just stay out of my sight."[/color] And with that, he turned around and disappeared into the library, the door closing behind him.
