Name: Rin
Age: Twenty-something. She refuses to be more specific.
Appearance: "Hey!" She's a bit on the tall side, too.
Personality: A quixotic daydreamer who, despite being rather lazy and unmotivated, is easily fired up by the cause of justice and honestly believes she is destined to become a hero of justice. Not at all coincidentally, she has a noted love for superheroes, tokusatsu and super robot and magical girl anime... To the point that, like the man who inspired the very term "quixotic", she may have lost herself a bit in the fantasy and views the world through a lens blurred by the conventions and philosophies of these forms of media; naturally, she has grown a bit frustrated with the world of her birth due to how little it actually follows these conventions. Putting on an air of hotblooded determination, she opposes the corrupt and champions the oppressed, and would describe herself as "noblebright" with a straight face. Admittedly, she's also a little bit of a pervert, and shows a noted interest in both cute boys and cute girls.
Abilities: A veritable font of esoteric and mostly useless knowledge and factoids, backed up by a few years of kung fu training and a love of cooking.
Native or Newcomer?: Newcomer
Cheat: Weight of the World - The ability to increase or decrease her bodyweight at will without any change in size. She can either make herself lighter and thus more agile, or heavier to allow her to hit harder.
History: A casual drifter on the sea of experience... Or to put it another way, a lazy nerd with no direction in life. With no real prospects or goals, Rin spent a good chunk of her life burying herself in fantasy literature, superhero comics, power metal, tokusatsu shows, super robot and magical girl anime... Escapist fantasies built upon mighty heroes fighting vile villains, something she slowly began to see as some kind of ideal to strive towards. And before she could realize it, like the fabled Don Quixote she had lost herself in this ideal, an ideal that didn't really fit the modern world she'd been born into. Oh, if only she could just leave this world and find one that suited her delusions far better...
Other: I'll admit she's a very loose self-insert, but there's a lot of differences and I figured that it would fit for something like this anyways so hopefully it comes off a bit less lame than I am worrying it does. ^^;
