Suddenly, K.C.'s mark began to burn more intensely than ever. He knew it was some form of monster but nothing he'd ever encountered before. Suddenly his head snapped back and his eyes glazed over. He saw the forest that surrounded Citadel, then the vision shifted to grove in the center of the forest. He snapped out of the vision and looked around him, panting wildly.
