Kaya nodded and began to fasten her parachute and wingsuit. She breathed slowly and controlled, even as images flashed before her head. This brought back many memories she had buried deep within her. "Ready." "Wait shit, hold on. We got company" Suddenly there was a sound of air being torn apart as a yet streaked past over them. It continued on like nothing, unable to see shit due to its hightech stealth system and being partially in the clouds. Once the fighter jet was gone agian, the plane began to drop in altitude. "You know the drill. Green light is go!" Aida shouted as they reached optimal altitude for a halo drop. The bay door opened slowly and the green light lit up. Kaya didn't hesitate. She was out of the plane and soon was in controlled free fall. She aimed for a area that was mainly clear of trees and not to close to the mountains. It would land her neatly on the border of Loyalist territory. As she landed in the high grass, she immediately discarded the wingsuit and parachute, grabbing her trusty Mossberg and hurrying towards the treeline. She moved with purpose, hardly hindered by the jungle as she was no stranger to tropical climates or forests. Her eyes scanned her surroundings, spotting the odd trip wire and trap every now and then. This was certainly no place to hang around for long. As night fell, she found a suitable, large tree and climbed it. Curling up within some particularly sturdy branches, she hung a hammock there and took some time for shuteye. ---- Burma/Mayanar. "For Hong" Kaya mumbled to herself as she lay in the grass, the stock of her gun firmly planted against her shoulder. One eye closed, the other looking through the scope. They had set up their killzone pretty well. Small ditches made footing uncertain, the little wooden spears doubly so. What claymores they had left were set up among the treeline. They had been waiting patiently and their patience was rewarded with a loud explosion as the first boobytrap exploded among the trees. There was screaming as someone unfortunate got their leg blown into a cloud of bone fragments and blood. She focused on the location of the explosion and soon found their would attackers sneaking trough the thick foliage. She breathed slowly, squeezing down on the trigger. "This one is for Hong, motherfuckers." The bullet hit home right in the temple of the young man head. He went down like a sack of wheat, collapsing in front of his comrades. Soon her comrades were firing away in tandem with her. Brunos M16 cut down with accurate bursts of gunfire and hernandez hosed down his flank with machinegun. Lighting up the poorly armed, but numerous militia members they held their attackers back for a while. That’s until a rocket flew out from the woods and hit the base of the rickety tower that Kaya was firing from. The entire building began to crumble and Kaya threw herself out the back window, away from her attackers and onto the tiled roof below. She bounced, felt her shoulder dislocate and bounced again, spraining her ankle. She was still behind cover, but without her fire position, their killzone lessened and more militia began to make it to the ditches. Hernandez and Bruno retreated slowly towards their fallback line. Kaya for her part, grabbed her arm and screamed as she ran into the wall hard enough to shove the arm back in place proper. Her face was pale from the pain as she dragged herself to the best cover she could find. 1911 in her good hand, she began firing against the advancing enemy. They had killed at least thirteen or fourteen. She kept firing. One more, and another. Then among them walked a man dressed in a officers uniform. She aimed and screamed. “FOR HONG!” The bullet flew true but stopped suddenly. Then it slowly turned in place and shot back. Suddenly, a pang of pain shot through her from the shoulder. Blurily, she looked down to see blood run down her already worthless arm. The officer walked unconcerned towarders. The barrier or what ever he had protecting him redirected both bruno and Hernandez fire as well. The man lifted a revolver, ready to kill her when Brunos massive form tackled the spindly sadisticly smiling man aside. The massive Bruno shoved the mans face into the dirt. Hernandez kept the few remaining attackers at bay while Bruno and the Officer struggled. She felt her head grow foggy with pain. She could see the shape of Bruno smash the officer of the head but he just laughed. He rose to his feet again and again, hitting bruno back with much less force but it was certainly adding up. Then Bruno missed and the strange man jammed his thumb into his eye. The sound nad the screams were horrifying. “NO!” A sudden flare of white from Kaya and then her world was nothing but white, righteous fire… ---------- Kaya awoke cold with sweat, breathing heavily. Staring around, the panic didn’t subside at first as she saw jungle. For a second she was afraid she was still stuck in the dream. When her brain catched up, she sighed and climbed down. That is when she heard gunfire and shouting. Little did she realize how close she was to her destination. Hurrying toward the sound, she came to where the jungle gave way for a small town. A town seemingly under siege. There was screaming, and men and women wearing loyalist colors having a very intense firefight with what seemed to be mercenaries and what must have been some plain clothed Colombian officers. The loyalists where heavily pressed, but their leader was a sight for sore eyes for Kaya. Hernandez held of most of the mercenaries by his lonesome, having found a exellent defensive position ontop of a hill among a natural rock formation. Kaya closed her eyes, took a deep breath then began to running. Her 1911 in hand, she waited until she was sure she could hit reliably before letting up on the mercenaries flank. Caught unaware, two mercenaries fell as they got hit from the side, one of them in the head. The mercenaries, trying to pivot on the new threat while still holding the Loyalist down, was met with sight of Kaya moving much to fast for a normal human. White fire wisped about her feet as she literally jumped into the frey. With the sudden appearance of Kaya, the Mercenaries were soon fleeing, leaving bewildered colombian officers in custody of Hernandez and his loyalist squad. Kaya walked straight up to the big, bald colombian and hugged him hard. Hernandez returned the nearly bone cracking hug with gusto. “Kaya. What on earth are you doing here.” “Getting you out.” “I can’t do that Kaya. Not with Zepata hunting down anyone his paranoid mind percieve as against his grand vision. And before you tell me this isn’t my fight? Zepatas little goons have cartel help, and this is my home Kaya.” Kaya sighed. “Yeah… Yeah I know. So I am here to help in that case. Now, tell me exactly what is going on.” And with that, the two set off towards the closest Loyalist stronghold.
