Finally reaching the station where the students would drop off in order to commune at the mess hall, practically everyone left the train in order to go grab breakfast and attend to the final part of the opening ceremony. Just as everyone did, Allen and his roommate got stepped out from the engineering marvel and headed towards the huge building where the early morning meal was taking place. As usual, the sight of the building’s interior was a sight to behold. Able to house just about everybody on the campus, with so much food that you believe it could feed an entire army, yet the quality of said food was not lacking. There was just so many that one could not even manage to taste even half of what was offered before one’s stomach would be full. Truly this was the best way to start a student’s day. While Alec could not wait to grab a bite, Allen was much more patient than his roommate and toured around the mess hall in order to meet new faces. Walking around, he was and had greeted many of his fellow students. At some point he even had reached the place where the Headmaster was eating and exchanged a friendly greeting with the utmost authority of the university. There were just so many people, it was hard for Allen to just spot any newcomers. And yet, he managed to find some people he thought he didn’t recognize. He welcomed them whole-heartedly to the academy and offered his help to the new students whenever they felt like they would need to know something about the campus or for anything else on that matter. Finally, after quite some time socializing with the others, Allen finally settled to have breakfast. By the time he started eating, a lot of the students had already left, having finished their meal, while some of the newer students were leaving with their escort to either tour the campus or get a room. Surprisingly, Alec was here, eating and talking with a few other students. The Elemental Mage chuckled and went towards a half-empty table. For once, he’ll be able to enjoy a bit of peace while eating instead of constantly hearing his roommate chatter about everything and nothing of importance.
