My dog actually fights for attention. He will hop right on top of you no matter where your at, bite your hands and feet, scratch you up, bark, lick your hands and feet and hop onto you and smother your face with his tongue. 

Yeah, it's really hard to ignore my dog. And the more attention you give him the more he wants.
