I'm a veteran of role playing from back in 2005-2009 or so. It's been quite a while and I've relatively recently gotten the itch to jump back in and as my primary playing forum is largely dead now, I just randomly googled this place. I largely prefer original works, but am not completely opposed to fan works. It just seems like there's more freedom allowed and more challenging to write a character to fit into an original universe than a pre-existing one.
