She bolted, just barely making sure Leon was behind her. The noises from the beast behind them was enough to set her adrenaline pumping. She turned and saw the beast on top of Leon's bag. Within the span of a few seconds, she mulled over what to do. She didn't really want to hurt it but if she just slashed it's foot, it might attack her back. She'd probably just have to end it. Without thinking, she pulled back behind Leon, the knife in hand and readied. "There's no time like the present." She mumbled before pushing forward, holding the knife up. With all of her strength, she pushed down on the knife, aiming for the animal's neck, and hopefully not Leon's or the bag. If the bag ripped, they'd lose all of those provisions. But she was beginning to think they were silly for even trying to bring it with them. Oh yeah. They were silly. Stupid and crazy and probably going insane. She needed... she needed a moment to breath. Then again, the way things were going, she wouldn't get that chance. Whether the knife hurt the beast or not, she pulled the knife back and then pushed at Leon, hopefully pushing him just enough to knock the beast to the ground. She motioned for him to follow her. If she remember correctly, there was a tunnel in the Garden that led out into the forest. Then, hopefully they could find Fredricka's hiding place. She ran as fast as she could and when they reached the corner of the garden, she pulled up one of the tiles and motioned for Leon to go in. "Go, go. It leads to the forest. Don't stop, keeping running."
