The Xi'an class system is based off of three factors; species, profession and honors

Species

1) Demons

2) Humans

3) Other

Professions

1) Government

2) Scholars

3) Warriors

4) Craftsmen

5) Merchants

6) Labor

Honors are just recognitions from the government of exceptional exceptions. For example the knights of Vaolos are classified as warriors, despite being nonhuman

So in a function breakdown Xi'an looks like this. Each tier has their own rank system, but y'all don't need to worry about that since it's common sense that a palace guard outranks a foot soldier and a master outranks the student

Tier one: Royalty

Tier Two: Scholars, doctors, generals

Tier Three: Warriors, foot soldiers, embassadors, royal officials such as tax collectors, demons lowest level

Tier Four: Craftsmen, artists, teachers, architects

Tier Five: Merchants, wealthy humans

Tier Six: Labor, farmers, unskilled workers, human lowest level

Tier Seven: Nonhumans without honors, criminals
