A man once said that sometimes, you have to fight fire with fire. Little did Allen know that fighting Chaos with a more chaotic display would do just that. Xinhua's raging thunderclouds quelled the rampaging students in the mess hall as everyone ducked under tables and whatever protection they could use. It some way, that fear brought a bit of peace to the hall, before the Enforcers took that opening to bring a firm grasp of order in the dining area. Allen himself didn't trust in the situation, ushering a whisper before the gray symbol on his shoulder glowed. An aura of wind swirled around him. It felt like a soft breeze circling around the elemental mage, but it was in fact protection against the very same element used. Lightning was part of Air's domain, in Allen's case, and even if lightning was to struck Allen, he would reduce its effectiveness. However, just as the sky always clear after the storm, Xinhua's magic would soon disperse after she had left the hall. Truly, she was one of those people whose pride would blind them to reason. Even though wise words spoken by good friends were told, she ignored them and left everyone behind. Some left, perhaps chasing after her, while others were assembling around Meruin to assess her situation. The elemental journeyman didn't quite like the situation. He wasn't particularly agreeing with Viola taking the opportunity of the moment to suggest ideas that reeked of sinister ulterior motives. With Viktor already saying what there was to say, Allen wouldn't add more to it, lest he would appear to be somewhat pushy about his ideals. There was no need for Allen to speak any further. What was done is now done, and what has been said is all there is to it. As much as the young mage would like to help, he didn't want to impair Meruin with his presence, and didn't want to go nag Xinhua any further. All that was left to do is to trust in the others and their relationship with each other. Hearing out Luna's idea of taking a breather outside, it did seemed like a good idea. The tension was too high in here. Following shortly after Viktor leaving the mess hall, it was Allen's turn to leave the area, but not without turning to the others and offering a faint smile. "Well then, it's sad, but I guess that's all there is to it. Well, I mean, for now. Good luck with your duel, Meruin. I hope you will be able to prove to all what you are capable of." Allen said, turning back and heading towards the exit. "If anyone needs me, I'll probably be blowing some stuff around the gym, as always." He added with a laugh as the silver-haired elementalist passed through the doors. Taking a short stroll, Strauss found Luna and Viktor, who seemed to be speaking to each other, and the Weaver offering quite a show with his magic. Allen approached the two just as the shrouded mage finished speaking. "As one speaks with passion about such interesting subjects, one never speaks too much." Allen answered to Viktor, offering a greeting gesture to the Weaver and the Chronomancer. "I haven't see you for a while, Viktor. I thought you had left the university." the elementalist added as he offered his hand for a friendly shake. "Quite the spokesman you are, my friend. Good words coming from a good man. I liked your speech earlier. It's just a shame our resident Dragon Disciple is too stubborn to listen."
