I'm really sorry to hear that about the puppies.  I hope that you'll be able to get one but if not I hope you can find a way to get another puppy from either the same or another reputable breeder.  I honestly can't imagine life without my cats (even when they are little brats) and it is horrible that those poor dogs were robbed of life and happy homes.

It's not a cruel twist of fate.  It's just very shitty chance.

I'd say take your time but if composing the post helps take your mind off of things...
