Stormed out, you know, because of Xinhua's talent with thunder and lightning. And, she supposed, that laughter had been a way of releasing whatever hold that atmosphere around the Mess Hall had placed on her. There was the Xinhua she knew, calm and disciplined like the eye of a storm but constantly surrounded by a raging aura of intimidation, and she wouldn't have the girl any other way. Lee slipped her way underneath the storm clouds and gave Xinhua a one-sided hug and a lopsided grin. "That's my girl! I know you don't need it, but I can do my best to help you train, even if it's just healing some scrapes." With a wave of her hand, a vine extended from a nearby bush and slithered towards her. She had meant to try and shape it into a dummy for Xinhua, but when her hand met it, it gave her a brief glimpse of some commotion occuring somewhere in the school. With a purse of her lips and a look shot towards her friend, she allowed her eyes to slip shut and established her connection with the plantlife. A tree near the buildings gave her sight to a small group of people cluttered around the billboard, while a number of students clammored to enter the office. Lee didn't need to look at what the board held to know that it was a notification about a field trip, but she still did so anyway. She transferred her connection to a bird perched on the tree and flew into an open window. She perched on the shoulder of one of those reading what the billboard held to see it for herself. City of the Dead. She didn't think she'd heard of that place before. She most certainly didn't have pictures of it on her wall. She'd know. She checked the Wanderlust Wall (or as she sometimes liked to call it during her off days, the Pain Wall) that morning. She released her hold on the bird, wincing only slightly when she realized that the poor animal and perhaps even those students would panic at its location. She'd find it and give it some seeds later. She turned her attention back to Xinhua. "There's a new fieldtrip posted up. To the City of the Dead with Professor Levi. Are you going?" Clear longing and hope shone in her eyes. While she couldn't leave the school grounds due to her... condition, she would make sure she had plenty of photographs of the places her friends had gone to. [@TheHangedMan]
