Name:Mei Yuán
Age:43
Personality: Mei is a confident woman but very blunt with her ways and could even be called short-tempered from what she heard people call her. However, you shouldn't be worried about it if you're not on her bad side as she is a very talkative person, to say the least... It shouldn't take long to understand that she is a nonchalant and joyful person to be around who also knows when to have fun when the time is right. Making it strange when she has a serious face on her, which makes it obvious that fun and games are off the table for the moment. Yet, this has only happened so few times that nobody ever knows that she has a 'bad' side which they have seen besides the sass that she talks with normally.
Appearance: Mei is in her early 40s but due to her taking proper care of her body has given her the graces of younger skin than those who simply don't. Being a relatively tall for a woman with long blonde hair that comes from her European grandfather on her mother's side. Having fairly average athleticism which is better than can be said for most people this day but could use a lot of work if you wanted to criticize it. Having quite the hourglass shape to her body that gets some looks along with her skin and hair, its no wonder why people people think she is younger than she is.
Biography: Born into the family of Yuán, who were mages who raised their family in the teachings of what they knew. Mei was raised in such a household who held strict rules and traditions that were drilled into knowing the. An old household who held old money and influence, but small enough and 'unimpressive' in the eyes of other more prestigious families were 'unknown' and considered nothing special except for the rare recognization. Once upon a time, they used to be something more as they were connected to the Demon Hunter Organization a long time ago, and simply severed ties from them as they disappeared from the limelight of things and been forgotten.
Her position in the family was far from being the head of the Yuán household which she never mind for the amount of politics that came with the position. The family crest already on the member who presented the most talent for magecraft and most of the attention was placed on them. Eventually, her life calming down after initial training leaving it up to her to continue her now increasing infrequent lessons by herself. Allowing her to grab some experience by herself and consult her teachers whenever confused when she ventured further deeper into the mystery.

Magecraft: Mei was not trained in the Western Style of Magecraft, instead learning the Eastern Styles of Magecraft under the different Thaumaturgy Theory of The Supreme Ultimate. Focused on the Buddhist arts which her family has followed for as long as they could remember. She too was trained by them and while initially showed no talent for it, began to catch on quickly after facing initiation by taking the time to show her dedication and study. Once the lessons began, her understanding of what she was taught started to catch on easier and quicker as time went by.
General Magecraft
High-Speed Incantation: Mei has been trained by her elders to recite the tedious aria of her magecraft with speed when necessary in situations of duress. She has a repertoire of five-line, ten-line, and many more spells which require the use of this skill which her family employs during their own rituals. Trained enough that she is able to speak without making mistakes as long nothing is distracting her which is hard to do. Entering an almost trance-like state which can only be stopped by physically stopping her with significant force would simply prevent her from reciting her aria.
Elemental Magecraft - Fire and WindMei has a respectable skill in her use of fire magecraft and has achieved a high-tier of prowess with it. A large majority of those higher spells require a lengthy incantation to perform them as their drawback. In comparison, her skill with wind magecraft is lesser than her specialty of fire magecraft, using it mostly to supplement her style or occasionally for smaller spells. Combining the two allows her to create a blazing pyre that is hard to not fear from being consumed in its fiery grasp.
With her skill and training in Fire Magecraft, she is capable of performing spells up to the rank of High Thaumaturgy provided that she provides the necessary incantation for them. It is a volatile element in her eyes which she prefers more direct use which this element with nothing fancy, her direct use of this element are mostly spells which can engulf a target in flames or at its most potent form, evoking a storm of fire which can be controlled with chanting. While these are more complex spells, she is also capable of throwing the common fire projectiles with speed and accuracy.
While her training with Wind Magecraft is inferior, it is still at a respectable level for any mage. It the element which pertains to her repritore of more defensive spells that she uses. Allowing her to have flexibility and freedom of movement from the spells that she cast, ranging from temporary flight to
Equipment: She always is carrying a parasol around to protect her from the sun, with a handle made of dark wood and reinforced with metal. It is an umbrella of surprising durability and used mostly for casual purposes but it is also an uncanny mystic code which she can deploy. When opened, the decoration on the umbrella is a protective spell that shields the area that the open umbrella covers so long as energy is being provided.
Her umbrella is always accompanied by an uncharacteristic metal cane that sounds slightly hollow whenever it hits the ground. It is simply an ordinary cane which can help with walking to most people but can also be used as a medium in casting magecraft in the hands of people such as Mei.
Another piece of apparel that she brings that could be of interest is her jade necklace which serves as a good luck and protection charm. A piece of fairly simple eastern magecraft that is be said to ward off 'negative energy', it is a protective charm that she wears. Symbolizing her resolve and clarity of mind whenever she takes a moment to glance at it. The necklace while it may not offer as potent of protection like a normal amulet designed to ward off magic, it instead excels in repelling magecraft that affects the mind but meager protection to anything else.
