He was [i]stuck[/i] here. Possibly forever. Talk about escapism gone wrong. The hooded man blinked from the sky, leaving a bitter taste in Satori’s mouth – no, he’s Mouette now, isn’t he. Satori doesn’t exist here, only Mouette does – he created this online persona and now he was stuck here. 

Mouette’s impassive face twitched, one corner of his mouth lazily turning downwards. He could feel a headache blooming on the forefront of his mind – he really didn’t feel like dealing with this shit today. “[color=#F79D59]How tiring.[/color]”

When it came to the thought of action, the first thing that came to mind for Mouette was to take a fucking nap and deal with it later. Then, when the unsettling atmosphere finally touched his shoulders like a bucket of cold water, Mouette decided to push his nap by an hour. The brief thought of joining a group crossed Mouette’s mind – but if he joined a group, he would be slowed down considerably if he wants to get out of here fast enough. Because like hell is he going to be stuck in a VMMORPG with a bunch of edgy kids calling each other swear words.

He needed a plan: anything could happen at this point and the best plan of action is to have a plan. There are many unknown variables that Mouette needs to know before he is able to set a plan, however, and he knows this.

The most pressing unknown variable in Mouette’s mind is: If he dies in the game, will he die in real life?

There’s only one way to really test that out, isn’t there? Mouette eyes the other players warily. The only way he can know for certain is if someone dies – be it by his hand or not.
