All characters have just been sent to serve on SS-Warlord as an elite team of soldiers. So if they haven't served in the same division, they won't know each other personally. Just reputation-wise if they did stuff to impress.

Like my char which is a known sharpshooter or [@Shadow Daedalus]'s char that is technically a cyborg and is probably a sensation between soldiers. Something close to a legend if you want to think it like that.
