While the fire helped, the Darquesse couldn't help but notice that Kyoko seemed to not really need it as her eyes shifted to a much more reptilian or perhaps cat-like appearance, allowing her to see in the near total if not total dark though the process seemed much more akin to her pupils dilating than a conscious effort, showing quite clearly that her powers extended beyond her inhuman strength. Outside of her new-found eyes, she appeared quite normal still and was actively looking around the room more for an exit really than anything else
