[@thewizardguy][@Gentlemanvaultboy][@supertinyking] By the end of the first day, Damien, was getting tired. They had walked a long while, and although he was a powerful magic user, Damien was also, human. Looking to be barely into his 20's, the human didn't have years of adventuring yet under his belt. He sat down at the campsite and didn't say much, but truly, he was grateful for Ozo's cooking. He would have liked to have asked about this Arthur that Firebrand grumbled over, but passed for a later time. He ate well and thanked the strange creature that was Ozo, then, under the watch of a demon, a fishman, and a soul-devouring wraith, and possibly the lord of hell, Damien slept. The second day, Damien made no complaints, but forced himself up and to become mobile again, after taking care of his basic needs. He approached his allies with the 5 vellums that Firebrand had given him, he looked like he was trying to hide his anxiety over what he was about to do. "My lord Firebrand. Ozo, the fish... It is with great trust and faith in my dark lord below that I have decided to share my magic with you through these scrolls." Damien swallowed. Trust was something fairly difficult for him. He withdrew the set of scrolls out of his robes. "The spells that I have inscribed here, are some of the most powerful, most evil magics I know. You must not open any one of these, unless you are prepared to unleash death itself. ... Make no mistake about your intent. As I hand them to you, I am trusting you both with my life." Each of the scrolls, he pointed out to them, for they were each a different spell. His allies would have to chose which they wanted to carry. Spell scrolls: energy drain http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Energy_Drain_(Spell) finger of death http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Finger_of_Death eyebite http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Eyebite blind http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Blindness/Deafness ghoul touch http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Ghoul_Touch Later, the group ran into the tall, silver knight. Damien was hit hard by the chaotic emotional aura and was in essence crippled. Still, he walked, confused, angry, despairing, and laughing, he walked on to keep up with the others, his eyes wet with ridiculous tears. But oh he knew something was affecting him, and god save it if he ever found out what. He didn't give a care what the knight said about mortals and their "false gods," Damien was pissed... and sad... and pissed again.... The best he could manage was to stay as silent as possible, trying to contain the outbursts that rose up and threatened to move his tongue. he clutched his unholy symbol and concentrated on fearing his god. Hopefully, Firebrand or Ozo could negotiate with this aggravating presence.
