Vanessa stood and watched as Samuel slashed endlessly at the young girl, "Sick bastards, some of these Parliament members," she thought to herself, "but at least they keep things in order." When everything was said and done, the girl was burned, cut, shot and finally chained up but still clinging on to life. Vanessa could see the tenacity in her, which explains why Samuel wanted to keep her alive - to put her in her place. Vanessa sheathed her sword and went over to pick up the scythe, it was lighter than it looked, but still far too big for the young girl to use it effectively. She then turned to Samuel, "Sir, what's next? Might I suggest we return to base for now and tend to the prisoner and her stolen property?".
