William realised what Emily had done, he wasn't sure if she knew what would result of her due to her actions but he was appreciative of it nonetheless. He ran up to her while doing a panicked version of the Macarena and noticed that she's bleeding really badly but still alive, "Someone get medical help! This lady has been shot!" he called out. "Jesper! Yes it's cruel! She sacrificed herself and now you're robbing her while she's barely alive! That ain't right!" William grabbed the piece of paper from Jesper's hand, he gave it a look and could tell from the notes that it was a page from his old notebook. "And how did you get this? It's from my old spellbook!"

Meanwhile, William felt the centipede he summoned vanish, not from the spell wearing off, but it was crushed, possibly by Jeffery but it felt like something large and heavy.
