[@Gohan] I've always had a particular fondness for FFII -- alongside FFIV and FFVI, it counts amongst my three favourite games prior to the PSX era. Not that I don't think the other games are good, but those three are the better ones for me. They're also the ones I've played the most out of the old ones, which could partly explain why I've taken the time to appreciate them more. That's a good idea -- perhaps Emperor Mateus had something to do with that? I could very easily come up with a plot idea if you like, since I've been planning a lot of my ideas around the concept that he's pretty much 'sabotaging' this particular cycle in certain ways in order to achieve a hidden agenda. I'm thinking the method he uses to screw up Cosmos' summoning ritual basically takes a lot of his energy, which explains why he's not able to immediately go after the warriors and pick them off without effort due to how powerful he is. In terms of the idea of how we'd write the separation, I'm thinking we could split our posts using a cut-off -- I already know how I'd do this, and that way we'd be able to post multiple characters even if they're not in the same location. I planned to use this same method to separate what my heroes and villains are doing when they're not in the same place. By the way, unless [@Raddum] decides to take on Tidus - and maybe even if he does - I'm thinking about bringing over Auron as a counterbalance to Jecht (if I use him). Frankly, Auron is the bloody Chuck Norris of the Final Fantasy universe and I feel like he deserves to be in Dissidia.
