Alias: Sayuri of the Bloody Scales - Given by fellow Marines due to the color of her hair and scales and her lack of mercy in battle.
Age: 24
Appearance: Sayuri is tall at 5'11" with sharp violet dragon-like eyes and waist length red hair that she wears in a low thin ponytail. Despite being 24 she looks to be 18-20. She wears black boots, black pants with dark red flames below the knee, a white sleeveless shirt, white cloth bandages wrapped around her palms and forearms, a black jacket, and a dark red dragon head necklace. She also sometimes wears her Marine cap or a black and dark red cap.
Her dragon form is about 6' at shoulder with sleek spineless form and scales. It's about 14' long with a similar wingspan. It is mostly dark red with black markings on its back wings and tail.
Position on the ship: First Mate
Personality: She is a generally abrasive and blunt rarely pulling her punches or abiding by formality. She is also rather lazy pushing jobs she can onto other people preferring to sleep or laze around. The only two things she isn't lazy with are training and fighting which she always takes seriously. She's also difficult to befriend as she generally doesn't much care either way but once she is your friend she is steadfastly loyal.
Background: Sayuri was born and raised is Shells Town with her live in home Mother and Marine father. Her life was fairly normal though her father was rarely home as he held the rank of Commander and was at sea most the time. She also had very few friends. One of which she was basically inseparable from. The two got in all kinds of trouble around town. Childhood was good to her until things started going downhill for her when she was about 11-12. The first thing was that her best friends simply up and vanished one day and none seemed to know why. Her father had also seemingly started refusing to come home only sending letters. The marines also started becoming corrupt and were fully controlling the island by the time she was fourteen. The only families that were safe were the Marine families which put strain on her relationships causing her to lose all but three of her friends and her mother all of hers. One year when she was exploring the island she fell into a crevice with a cave system. She was trapped there for three days before she decided to wander the cave and try to find her way out. There she found an odd fruit that shouldn't have been there. Too hungry to care she ate it. It turned out to be the Draco-Draco Fruit. With the increase to her senses she was able to make her way out and back to town. Being unable to completely  control her transformations she was shunned and lost another of her friends leaving only two. It took three months to completely control her transformations. Suddenly when she was sixteen her father, now a Commodore, returned and crushed the corrupt Marines and reestablished proper control over the town. Despite this her mother no longer wished to stay and continued with her plans to move the two of them to the island of Rougetown. She kept in contact with her two friends with letters. There she quickly enlisted in the Marines in order to help the people who needed it. She did well and was put under a fair Commander. Over the next several years she tirelessly trained to be a better and more competent fighter and gained great control of her Devil Fruit and some of the Rokushiki arts from a book she'd taken from a destroyed Intelligence building. She'd also gained rank quickly due to her skill and diligence reaching the rank on Ensign at the age of twenty three. Though she had done some terrible things as a Marine she still generally felt she was doing good but was questioning herself. The next year she was assigned to a mission to remove pirates from a port town at least thats what she was told. Instead the actual mission was the complete destruction of the town, pirates and residents both. That was the final straw and she couldn't stay any longer. During the assault she stole a small fishing boat and fled unable to stay in the Marines any longer. She eventually arrived back at to Shells town to hear about an old friends impending execution.
Weapons/Items: A set of three books on the Rokushiki techniques and how to use them that she stole.
Abilities: Sayuri ate the Mythic Zoan type Tatsu-Tatsu no Mi or the Draco-Draco Fruit which has given her the ability to transform into a Dragon. She has trained heavily in order to have the ability of partial transformations (similar to Phoenix Marco). It also grants her two passive effects; enhanced sight, smell, and hearing and the ability to eat raw meat mostly risk free. It also slowed her physical aging when she was about sixteen. She also has basic knowledge of Rokushiki.
Techniques: She is capable of the Soru, Shigan, and Geppo Rokushiki techniques. 
Her partial transformations are limited to wings and tail, claw like hands and feet, sharp teeth, and scaled body parts.
In her half-state she is about 6'4" and a slightly bulky upper body with wings and tail. 
Other: She also has a dragon-like love for jewels and pretty stones.
She has a pet Bloodcrowe named Tsugi. A crow like bird with blood red feathers along the upper portion of it's wings, in a line starting at the top of it's head traveling along its back, and it's tail. They are intelligent and strong fliers able to fly in storms. Native to her home island.[/hider]
