It's definitely a pain in the ass when people just up and disappear (we had a good reason, so I don't think I'm a hypocrite here), but - like you said - it happens. On at least a few occasions I've tried to consider ideas for a more simplistic character I could throw in here, but no matter how many times I've done it things just end up going back full circle -- just not in my nature to do simple. Hopefully it'll go well.

Also noticed you'll potentially be part of a Naruto role-play shortly. It's been years since I looked at anything related to that series, but at one point there was a role-playing site devoted to it that I almost got involved with. I decided against it mostly due to community problems and due to most ideas I have for abilities being too 'broken' for normal role-plays.

On a side note, I'm part of a Final Fantasy role-play now.
