About the world
This is a world of magic, where the sun is a dragon, and the moon a dead dragon. Before the dragon died he was a sun as well. This world was bathed in the light of the two suns and no time existed, nor did death. In that period elf existed together with two more races. After the dragon died it rained magic to the world and it forever changed. Many died in the birth of magic but after it many more races came into existence.
This was a ancient time ago.
Each day last 30h instead of 24h.
The two metals gold and silver cannot be found like minerals in the world.
Gold is solid magic, the more gold one posses the more power one has, literally. Gold can be created from magic, and can be spent to obtain raw magic to use for one needs.
Silver can be mined only from one place the Silvermountain. The elfs control the silver flow and distribution. Only elf families can legally receive and take silver. Silver makes the body young again, the more is taken the younger one becomes. Stop taking it and one will age normally again. Taking silver always has a side effect which varies depending on which race takes it.
For elfs they lose magical and physical strength, that is the reason some of the most powerful elf do not take silver as often, so they would be able to age into a old age and be overwhelmingly powerful.

How do we play
We will keep the rules as simple as possible. I as the game master will take care of all the numbers and will avoid telling you any numeric damage. If you get hit for 1 point I may say you got cut shallowly on the leg. If you lose lets say 60% of your health because of bad luck I may say you received a powerful fireball in the face.
We will be using d20 for everything we do. On a 1 something really bad happens on 20 something really good happens.
When do you roll?
*You roll when using any of your abilities, and when I ask you to. All rolls should be linked. There are times you can assume the result of the roll and simply go on in your post. 2-5 You missed. 16-19 You hit. 6-15 You maybe miss/hit depending on your enemy, I decided.
What are Death rolls?
*I will tell you to roll a death roll when:
-You healt goes to zero.
-You got hit with a attack that kills.
-You roll poorly that logically may lead to a death.
Death rolls will progressively get harder to survive.
First death roll: You die if you roll 1.
Second death roll: You die if you roll between 1-4.
Third death roll: You die if you roll between 1-10.
Forth death roll: You die if you roll between 1-14.
Fifth and any more death roll: You die if you roll between 1-19.
Surviving a death roll you can stand up and continue to fight your health goes back to max again. You just brushed with death, you may be mentally a bit more stressed.
Falling a death roll means you are dead. When your character dies you can pick to play a NPC till the story allows for new characters to join. Then you can choose to make a new character or adopt the NPC as your own. You will get some gold that you can spend on adjusting the NPC to your liking.
There are ways to reset the death rolls back to the first one. How it happens I will tell you in due time.
When will I ask you to roll?
It may be when you do something in your post that would trigger a hidden event. Or when you do actions that gather informations from me. Example search for evidence in a room.
You can post big, but short post are fine. When you are in need for more information from the game master you can post as short as two meaningful sentences, to which I will respond what happened. Meaningful means that you did something in your post, even if its just kicking a pebble in boredom. That action may just be the butterfly wings that makes your character life hell or paradise.
Try posting often or at least twice a week. If you will have exams or travel warn us ahead of time. You character will go take a nap, if other people are active.
Two at most.
You can earn the right to more characters.

SHOP
You walked a bit dazed into the building. For the life of yours you cannot remember how you got here. Worriedly you look around your surroundings, it appears to be a shop of kind. There are swords, and maces as well as parrots and spell scrolls. A bag on your hip shifts. As if the gold itself is excited to be spent here. Before you could question the strangest of it all a young looking woman came from the back. She is dressed simply in brown dress, her glasses hiding the color of her eyes, while her brown hair is collected in a pony tail.
"Come in come in! What are you searching? I may just have it for the right amount of gold my friend."
She speaks happily, with a bounce in her steps as she moves to the counter. Hands rubbing together in glee.
You move closer not sure what you want.
"What do you have?" You question the woman. She smirks wide, nearly unnaturally as she looks at you. In her glasses you can see yourself as if they were two mirrors.
"Well, well. Let me tell you what do I have here...."
