I should do my job more and actually moderate here, but I do agree with Lunar. While it's not too far fetched to assume that Avery may be some sort of spellcaster, IDing him exactly as a summoner is pretty spot on for someone you just met. Not to mention how exactly he got inside the house since looking at your last post, since it seems to imply that none of the doors are locked. At all. Which is pretty odd for a big fancy house who would no doubt be the target of thieves and such, and a locked door would be a pretty good deterrent for the unskillful ones. Nothing about your character implies he would have the skills of a lockpicker either, since it seems his only skills from his CS are Yang magic, sword play, and appraisal. And I don't like the excuse of "He has a mysterious past" to justify new skills when you need them.
