[@TheWildBunnii]Alright, I have a basic way scenario that has multiple pathways, if which you can see if there's any you like.
Even though the conflict rages on, not every spot is occupied with gunfire, seeing as a lot of the war is small firefights and occasional large scale battles, so either side has to maintain the land they own. The M.D.F have to ensure the people are safe, evacuated and not threatened by gangs and rebels buildingb up through the war, whilst the W.T.O. have to ensure they have the hearts and minds of those on their half of the war. When information of a third party threatens a key location for the W.T.O for future aircraft landing sites, teams from the W.T.O. are sent in to make sure no damage is caused to hinder the future plans of this site. But at the same time, the M.D.F. see this as a threat towards the citizens around, as it will hurt those who support their cause and may provide supplies for needed troops will be destroyed. Sending their own detachment inside, both sides are not aware of their opposition's involvement. At 4:34pm, the building site was lit up with gunfire and smoke as the three forces collided. The casualties were uncertain, but by 4:38pm, something happened. A ball of fire crunched the sky and a shockwave spread over a mile or two. Within seconds, the tower began to fall down, with the teams and others inside. The third party detonated in panic, and the building crumbled into the adjacent building tower. Survivors were unknown...
Now from this, we can a few plots to build from. Obviously the characters would be amongst the wreckage of the incident. We could either have: - Survivors from one side trying to find one another, gather their location, return to their rightful side whilst the assault operation of the other side is catching up towards them. - Survivors from either sides come across one another in the wreckage. Either a truce is forged between them to at least ensure they can escape to their own ways and survive amongst the confrontations of the war, or depending on the survivor ratio some are taken into custody. - The same as above, but the mixture of both sides trying to escape to one side or the other. They could be pursued by the charging forces of either side and/or the third party. Any input?
