[indent][i]Mawari was brought up in a Mōri household in the center of Konohagakure. Their clan wasn't especially wealthy or influential at that time. As the Mōri clan was a merchant clan, their members were spread far and wide in the shinobi world and as a result, many had perished due to the cold and the drying up of trade. But before that, they were of relative wealthy status and had many, many members.

She was brought up learning girl stuff - flower arrangement and things like that. She seemed content with it since she didn't really have an interest in the shinobi lifestyle. That is, until she saw her uncle and cousin training together. She was intrigued, since she didn't know anything about it really. This was before the Winter years, so the shinobi arts still flourished and were seen as a noble defense of your home country and not a grim reality.

She began studying the shinobi arts soon after. At first, she wasn't sure if she preferred this over the girly things she learned, but over time became more or less addicted to practicing her jutsu, chakra control and the knowledge of everything related to shinobi.

This was where her 'genius' began to show. 

She learned quickly and was intrigued by everything - she was liked by the class, too, avoiding the cliché of the most eager student being hated. In general, she was a likeable kid for much of her youth until she became 16. She graduated to genin at the young age of 10, showing off superb skills in the three techniques she was expected to know, as well as her chakra control and theoretical knowledge on shinobi arts and history. 

Nobody saw it, but looking back, perhaps this was the beginning of her rise to the rank of hokage.

She was added to a team of three, plus her sensei. The team was her, another girl whom was likeable but irrelevant, and a boy named Katso Hosokawa. He was arrogant, but very very cool. He pretended to be better than the sensei, and by extend Mawari, but they both knew the truth. In the end, Mawari could say perhaps that this was the beginning of her diminishing faith in the shinobi world. 

They did the standard jobs, and that lasted well until she was a chunin - and 16. She showed superb skills in combat during the exams a year before the winter started (which were coincidentally the last time the villages worked together to organize the exams).

They performed routine security duties when the winter started, and gradually became involved in combat operations. This started when she was sixteen. As time went on they became involved in full scale battles, which grew more dangerous and large scale. During this time she had become attached to Katso and they had begun a relationship, built primarily on Katso's arrogance and Mawari's wisdom.

He died at the hands of Kumogakure and Kirigakure nin, his body stabbed multiple times, scorched by fire and his arm severely damaged by rocks.

And, then, a month later, she was cornered by some Kumogakure nin. While her sensei ordered them to evacuate, Mawari realized there was no way out for her. She was cornered and before she could do anything, the genin had struck at her with his kunai, slicing at her eye and effectively damaging it beyond repair - and leaving a nasty scar. Her sensei intervened and quickly took the genin down, but the damage had been done.

When she was released from front line duty, she was made into a jonin for showing expert combat skills and superior tactical abilities. In reality it was mostly because she had killed a lot of shinobi (venting her anger on them, mostly). During that time period she was also briefly tutored by the hokage of that time, which lasted until the winter was over.

When the hokage stepped down due to stress and waning health due to losing limbs in the wars, she was elected to take his place. She was one of the youngest hokages to ever be selected, and she had a large job ahead of her. But, at least now none could deny her power. And the added position of Hokage gave her access to the library in full - including some of the most deadly and forbidden techniques.

[indent][i]The Mōri clan does not have many members - it is not really a shinobi clan, much more so a merchant clan that has a few shinobi members. They were wealthy, but not on par with the Hyuga or the Sarutobi. They got by, and then had some money left, essentially. 

That changed when Mawari became hokage. With a Mōri on the seat of power in Konohagakure, they have become more important. Never the less, the shinobi clans will never accept the Mōri clan as a shinobi clan, as they do not have many shinobi worthy of the title of shinobi. Mawari is, perhaps, one of the few exceptions. Still, a grand total of ten shinobi hardly makes a shinobi clan.

They do not have much in terms of history - they are a recent creation, and have members all over the world, as they draw on people with their merchant caste. Most of the clan is preoccupied with other things, and Mawari has very little contact with any of them, even her parents.[/i][/indent]

Asides these obvious features, she is clearly extremely powerful. One does not earn the title of hokage without being strong. Her physical strength is impressive for her stature, and she is remarkably fast. Flexible, too. She is a threat for anyone - the direct obvious counters are more often than not the kages.

Perhaps her strongest feature is that she is talented and tactically gifted, calm and wise, but ultimately, a ferocious beast. She is the type of leader that sets her eyes on the prize, and will then never move a step back, continuously moving towards that prize no matter the cost.[/i][/indent]

[indent]This style of fighting is typical to Mawari, as nobody but her has managed to grasp it and utilize it. It is based on the wisdom she has gathered, the desire to learn more about the people in the world, the environment and the power contained within chakra - a path to Enlightenment. 

But although the Enlightenment is contained within the style, the style refers more to Indra than Asura, using power, ninjutsu, force and law to uphold the values that is deemed important. As such, 'peace' is merely an extension of 'war' in the sense that peace is formed through war, and war is bred through peace. This philosophy lies at the heart of the style. 

If we were to discuss the properties of the style in battle, it could be said that the style is used to take on numerous 'heavenly' qualities. If the style is utilized in full, it makes the user resemble something of a God(dess) in a more human way. Although quite obviously this is nowhere close to the levels of Indra and Asura, it does draw on their powers quite a bit. 

Because this is not quite a kekkei genkai but more so a [i]style[/i] specific to her, it would be hard to say in general what the description is. For a more detailed understanding, you'd have to consider the [/indent]

Afterwards, the user will 'sprout' four sets of arms that will grow from their back, and are under the full control of the user. This allows them to, for example, form handseals with these arms, or hold weapons. The arms also create new chakra paths inside of them that connect to the original chakra path. Therefore, while this technique seems simple, it's extremely difficult as the body must adjust to the new motor skills required to move the arms, as well as to accustom to the chakra paths. Mawari has perfected this art, but a new student would likely struggle to learn this technique, if he ever manages to learn it at all.

[indent]This technique is the follow up to Indra no Teisai, using the built up Yin chakra to cast a powerful genjutsu. As Indra embodied Yin chakra, this technique is the embodiment of Indra. The user will perform the genjutsu at the moment they release the tiger seal, with the 'trigger' for the genjutsu being the words she speaks afterwards. These words can, quite literally, be anything as the words are not important, but the sound of her voice is.

After the genjutsu is cast, those under it's effect will be faced with a sudden purple mist setting in, limiting their view rather harshly. It is possible for them to be in the same 'circle' clear of mist with other people. Then, from the mist, a 'clone' of Mawari will appear. This is the genjutsu in two parts; the mist is one genjutsu, the clone is another, but they act together and are cast and dispelled together. 

The genjutsu clone is, in theory, a perfect human, and will fight without mistakes. They will block all the attacks that are thrown at them, but all their attacks will never hit (because, a genjutsu has no 'life' and no physical presence due to the fact that there is no yang chakra) and will therefore always pretend to miss, or to be blocked. As a result, the clone will engage in an engagement that can theoretically last forever. 

As a result the target will lose stamina fighting the clone and, if they remain unaware of the genjutsu, can be targeted by anyone. Therefore it is easy for someone (Mawari for instance) to attack and take down the enemy.

As the genjutsu is convincing and similar to other 'real' techniques (the mist technique from Kirigakure, for example) it would be hard to see through it. But if it is found out [i]somehow[/i], it is possible to dispel it using regular means.

A better way to deal with it would be to realize the clones aren't physical, and ignoring them. However, this leaves the mist, and would force you to fight in the mist with limited vision.

[b]The genjutsu affects allies as well. Allies caught in the genjutsu would need to be freed from it by Mawari/someone else, or else they will see the mist and Mawari attacking them as well.[/b] Also, deaf people are not susceptible to this genjutsu at all because they cannot hear the trigger.[/indent]

[indent]First the user propels themselves into the air, using chakra augmented at the feet to launch themselves into the air, well beyond the reach of any shinobi. The user then lifts their six arms into the sky and begins gathering yang chakra, pushing it out of the palms into an orb of pure yang chakra. 

Although the edges are smooth at first, white as the chakra - reminiscent of a perfectly round pearl - the more chakra is pushed into the orb, the more unstable it becomes with spikes of chakra sometimes shifting outwards and spiking into the area around the orb.

Then, using her chakra control, Mawari will form the 'orb' into an open stretched palm, reminiscent of a palm strike. 

At some point it would become too dangerous to continue the filling of the palm, and the user must then throw down the palm at their target to destroy it. The palm would be large enough to obliterate a battlefield, or a small village. The area where the Brahmastra would be thrown at would perish, and be destroyed completely. Survivors of the blast would be infertile, nothing would grow on the land, etcetera. Hence, it's a kinjutsu. 

The technique would severely incapacitate Mawari - in fact, it would more than likely kill her or remove her from shinobi life for the rest of her life. [/indent]

[indent]Using all six arms, the user will perform a summoning jutsu, for which the handseals are different for all three pairs of hands. Hence, this technique could only be used by someone that has mastered the Visage of Asura technique. 

This summoning requires no contract - the God of Gods is not a living creature. Rather, it is.. best comparable with a statue inhabited by a spirit, or multiple spirits. It is an ancient thing coming from the age of the first two shinobi - Indra and Asura - that was said to have the power over peoples emotions. 

When the God of Gods is on the battlefield, the allies of the summoner will feel inspired and be inclined to fight harder. Similarly, the enemies will feel demoralized and will have a hard time to continue fighting with the lurking eyes of the God of Gods upon them, judging them for opposing him.

[indent]The gunbai is made of chakra-infused hardwood, meaning that it is durable and capable of deflecting blows. Kunai and shuriken thrown at it will get stuck in it, damaging the wood but ultimately not breaking it. Chopping motions by light blades (kunai, small cleavers, some lightweight katana's) will not damage it, perhaps slice the edges a bit. Larger blades (the blades used by the seven swordsmen of the mist, for example) would cleave the gunbai more easily, requiring a few hits to take it down, but ultimately doing the job.

The infusion of wind chakra allows the user to 'deflect' ninjutsu too in the case of small ninjutsu. Similarly, small gusts of wind that can do small cutting damage may be created by the gunbai too.
