@TurboshitterOh alright fair enough. Our enemy beserker doesn't have big breaking things in his arsenal. He's just REALLY fucking good at murdering things he doesn't like.
Ah, if @Grey and @Turboshitter are teaming up, then I guess my Master will be free for whichever other Servant requires one. That's all right. It just means I can put my Master C.S up as it is ^^
@Musaki Hajime@Loki Odinson Musaki hasn't posted for a bit as he's been offline but he needs a master you can join up with him. Shadow can join up with Phase if either of them are still in this.
@Phase TransitAlright so we got you and shadow together, assuming shadow agrees not that there's much room left otherwise. That leaves me working with myself, musaki, and loki, grey, and turbo. Alright I believe we have loose ends tied up. Assuming everyone doesn't monumentally screw up we're set for a solid roleplay assuming everyone stays. With the added bonus that I don't need to play our allied NPC's so I can focus on the monks, and the anti-us team.
Catalyst For Summon: Crossbow Bolt/Wooden Stake/a copy of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula'
Weapon(s): Mechanical Repeating Crossbow
Wish: To Free his friend from her dark curse.
Abilities:
Skills:
Hunter's Mark (B) - A skill that measures one's ability to track and pursue. Heightened senses give Van Helsing an unnatural ability to find his prey. Unless the target covered their tracks through magical means, he's able to find them. Negates Disengage and Presence Concealment of the same rank.
Medical Techniques (C) - A skill that power up medical techniques. Van Helsing is a trained doctor, capable of healing most wounds. At 'C' rank in his abilities on the same level of incredibly skilled human physicians and surgeons.
Monster Slayer (B+) - Van Helsing inflicts more damage against anything with bestial or monstrous traits. He possesses a high rank as the most famous of his profession.
Single Mindedness (D) - The capacity to devote oneself towards a cause. Van Helsing spends most of his time thinking about how to track down and kill monsters and new and inventive manners. He is highly disinterested in any other subject. Provides resistance against mental influence of the same level.
Class Abilities:
Independent Action (B) - It is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for two days without a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by maximally conserving mana and avoiding battle and Noble Phantasm usage.
Magic Resistance (B) -Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. Despite his humble origins as a doctor, he became a talented and dedicated monster hunter and became drenched in so much demonic blood over the years, he gained a natural resistance.
Base Parameters: Strength: (筋力, Kinryoku): D+ Endurance: (耐久, Taikyū): C+ Agility: (敏捷, Binshō): B+ Magical Power: (魔力, Maryoku): D+ Good luck: (幸運, Kōun): C Noble Phantasm: (宝具, Hōgu): A-C
Noble Phantasms:
Name: Hunter's Tools - Monster Slayer's Arsenal Quote: "For the Hunt everlasting, I arm myself..." Rank: C-A Type: Anti-Unit Range: N/A Description: A catch-all term for his armoury of monster-slaying weapons and tools, his noble phantasm allows him to summon any of the weapons from his past as a separate noble phantasm, all ranked between C and A, much like Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon, albeit on a weaker and smaller scale. This armoury contains multitude of traps, blades, firearms and other such tools, but more powerful tools are more costly to summon. His strongest weapon is his A-ranked Mechanical Crossbow, which is actually the sealed form of another more costly Noble Phantasm. Most of his weapons are B or C ranked.
Name: Venator Sanguinem - Purging Arrow Quote: "Seek out the weakness, then pierce into the heart..." Rank: EX Type: Anti-Unit Range: Very Long Description: This noble phantasm channels Archer's roots as a hunter to prey upon the weaknesses of its targets. Requiring Archer to be aware of his target's True Name, his weapon can be unsealed and the bolts become imbued by the very concept of that weakness, or their Achilles's heel. A Servant who's legend ended with poison would be struck with an incurable venom, or a servant of ice would be thawed by inextinguishable flame, for example. A taxing Noble Phantasm, Archer must wait at least 72 hours before he can use it again, and at least 12 hours before he can use Hunter's Tools. During this time, he is slightly weakened and is less effective in combat. Only Servants with high enough Endurance or Mana Stats can endure a blow from this Phantasm, A Ranked or higher on it's own or B with Magic resistance Ranked A or Higher.
Abraham Van Helsing
Abraham Van Helsing started life as a humble, but talented doctor. In his first adventure, he traveled the world and faced a powerful Dead Apostle who had stolen the name of Vlad III. He single handily faced down and defeated the monster but made his first and only mistake in his career. He did not kill it. As a result of this, his close friend Mina Harker was trapped as a Vampire for the rest of her unnatural life. Although he tried to find a cure he could not and Mina fled him and stayed as far away as possible, knowing they would eventually kill one another. Van Helsing swore he would not make the same mistake again. He was brutal and remorseless to his prey and showed no mercy - endlessly perpetuating the cycle of vengeance.
Essentially abandoning his previous life, he flung himself into a new line of work and began a dedicated monster hunter. Fuelled by grief and self loathing, he became the best of the best. Vampires. Werewolves. Demons. Ghouls and zombies and ghosts. These terrors hid in every corner of the world. Van Helsing became the torch that shone light upon the darkness before swiftly crushing the monsters head with his boot.
He encountered Bram Stoker, who used his life as a model for his book. The true Van Helsing was much younger and had far more experience, though he much less possessed the same personality - patient, kind, mild-mannered, but with a razor wit and great eye for details. Though Bram Stoker originally wanted to keep the details about Mina true, believing it was a marvellous and realistic tragedy, Van Helsing begged Stoker to give her a happy ending. The fame he gained from the book catapulted him straight to the Throne of Heroes upon death
@Shadow DaedalusCould you please link your archer to a wiki page like I did or something along those lines? If no make a bio like loki?
As for the rest of the character the only thing I have to question is the second phantasm. I know it's got some really big hampers by way of true name limits, and the time but an move that guarantees death one way or another is pretty powerful. Would you agree to the chance to repel the effects if the given target has a big enough mana pool, a really large one, to stop the effects using counter magic? Or the effects reduced if the servant has high magic resistance? It would render them pretty much useless after they expelled that mana and would need to retreat or would still be easy pickings.
Another thing is what if the person was assassinated, or didn't die of any specific weakness such as either execution, or old age?
Just an FYI to all I fixed my Saber. Upon further research I found out that his skill set is not A B C but B A B when in Saber. I find this info on the wiki page. Magic remains the same. He, for some reason, also gets a luck boost as well. Why my Saber of all people has such high luck is beyond me. I also moved for someone's glory to it's place in class abilities, and it get sealed when Saber reveals his weapon. Sealing Knight of Honor in this case seems a bit redundant since all I did is turn it into a 'call for weapon' skill instead of 'Here's this big stick it's a noble phantasm now'. He now only has one noble phantasm and it's been split into two parts for easier reading.
I don't really intend to use Arondlight's effect of increasing stats as Saber already has stupid bases. I will revert his luck to C if need be. I have no problems with D either just don't want to stray to much from the his majesty the wiki page. If requested I can probably list a few ways that could kill Saber.
