So much for city hospitality.. Rather than dwell on the fact that his kind gesture had amounted to nothing more than a waste of time. There wasn't even enough time to usher a proper sigh when some finely dressed young man casually came up to the table. From his pockets the human produced some sort of device and rambled on about jobs and artifacts.. Things olipher might have been interested in had it not been for the ear destroying wails eminating from the strange metal device. Olipher gave a quick glance at his new drinking buddy and prayed they were thinking the same thing Ollie was.. "..." Aleph had heard music like this once before when he was an infant, and subconsciously, he recognized this very song playing. But the unfortunate part about this was that all it did was remind him of... The Incident. "YAMERO" Suddenly panicked at the noise, Aleph jumped up to his feet, glaring at the strange device the man was using. "MAKE IT STOP. I AM ALLERGIC TO THAT NOISE!!!" That was his que! Olipher stood up and grabbed a single arrow from the quiver laying infront of him and roared his denial and rage into the air. The tip of the arrow stabbed down through the screen of the music player to violently pin it against the table as the Oni roared in helpless confusion and rage. The back of his hand shot out in an attempt to slap Alexander hard across the face as Olipher snatched his Bow and arrows. With a grunt he planted both hands beneath the table and tipped it over, spilling the contents of Alephs food, the drinks, and even Oliphers coin purse, onto the floor in a clatter. "SCATTER!" He shouted to his new found friend. Olipher sprinted as fast as his legs could carry him to the door and kicked it straight off the sturdy hinges into the street, much to the surprise of the locals staring in awe at the black clad tavern dweller. Before sprinting into the streets he made sure to turn and look at Eaze, giving the human a thumbs up of appreciation for his kind words. To be quite honest, Aleph was not entirely sure what had transpired in the moment he was reeling from the banshee's scream, but he was thankful for his new friend, who seemed to be the reason the noise stopped. But now they must run. Run so far away. Aleph did not need to be told to run, as he was already in the process of doing so. However, as he had gone to vault over the now-tipped table, he stumbled over the man who had once owned the bashee's scream. "WE ARE LEAVING." Turning back to Eaze, Aleph flipped the man off, as he had mistakeningly thought it to be some friendly gesture. Whoops. Down the street ran Aleph and Olipher, huffing and puffing as they pumped their knees high with every running step, until the tavern and its occupants were well behind them. Only when they were finally starting to get winded did they both decide to stop and catch their breathe, Olipher glanced back the way they had come to make sure there was no unwanted pursuit. While he disdained killing those who didn't deserve it, or earn him some coin, he wasn't above the concept of not killing. Satisfied that they had not been followed he glanced at Aleph and nodded with both hands crossed over his chest. "So what now. Anyone you know that can offer us a way to kill some time?" Aleph sighed. He had wanted to eat more before vacating the tavern, but circumstances had prevented him from doing so. But there was no use crying over spilled tables. "Hmm... I don't know. I am not exacly the most popular man." but then, something struck Aleph like a Ford truck. "Wait. Follow me, I know just where to go!" Olipher smirked from behind his face concealing helmet at the bright prospects he had discovered here. Where would this man lead him to next?.
