It's quite out of place for what we know of Gemminia, plus the Drakken are far more clever (and cruel - no qualms about chaining a girl to a bed under armed guard for their entire life) than they look - she'd be caught in a matter of days. Also, they aren't "given" as brides - Soldiers come to all the villages and towns to take the most conventionally attractive girls every year. And Gemminite brides are kept till they die or till they become infertile and are then killed... it would hardly be "shortening a sentence".

EDIT: I realized belatedly how harsh that may have sounded. We're taking an influx of new players, yes, and we'd be quite glad to have you. We might have to fumble around to get the drakken-gem ratio sorted out for you but I think likely you'll wind up with Belle's new bride and Potato's Rynek Darion.
